Left 4 dead Β© ValveIn the game, you can usually hear the tank being nearby...but sometimes nasty surprises happens and suddenly the tank is right behind the corner, without any alarming sounds.
This picture have a Moomins-reference too, I bet those who have seen the Moomins-anime knows what I'm talking about.

It happened today. I was playing a solo Crash Course on Normal and he was in the corner of a room, just behind the door.
What's crazy is that i didn't even come through that door, i came to this room from another entrance, so i saw him from behind while he was staring at that door.
That one peaceful second of me seeing a tank staring at a door...... before he turns back and rushes at me.
It's moments like these that inspired some Left 4 Dead "To Be Continued editions" we can watch now on Youtube.
