"B-Big Brother! I-I can't keep up!" I spun my running body around and quickly grabbed my little brother as he fell, quickly moving my cheek, I grit my teeth feeling an arrow graze the skin. I didn't have time to dwell on it as the light from torches and sound from angry chants began getting closer. I spun on my heel in black boots I'd stolen and ran, covering our faces and visible black horns with our hoods, Arthur shook in my arms out of the coldness of the night and the sheer fear that we might be caught and finally killed.
I stomped in the puddles of the after rain with grey clouds still looming in the monochrome sky, wooden houses past me by and I skidded along the floor in another direction. I narrowed my emerald eyes hearing the villagers getting closer, but determined to make sure my brother and I would be alright; I ran on.

I grit my teeth in frustration that I couldn't fly us away, many years ago when I was at Arthur's age of 5, the villagers became terrified of me and in a panic, sliced off my wings in the hopes I would turn into a human. My ankle suddenly skidded and I spun around so my back collided with the hard ground and Arthur was safe on my chest.
"Allistor!" Arthur cries.
"You okay squirt?" I mutter taking a quick glance down at the blonde as I try to steady myself up. Arthur sniffles his cries and nods that he's fine, I smile but harden my expression hearing the villagers dangerously close.
Gulping my fear, I bolt out from the wall and run down the road, yells erupt from behind me and arrows are sent towards my, I force my legs to push further past the wooden houses until I could find somewhere safe. But an arrow is suddenly sent through my shoulder, my eyes widen in immense pain and I let out a chocked scream and grip Arthur closer to my thumping chest.

Arthur cries my name as I dig my fang into my cheek, drawing blood down my chin. I ignore the pain the best I could and run forward, occasionally skidding in the wet floor and slamming into walls as I turned. I start to feel my tired eyes droop but shake my head, ignoring my exhaustion for Arthur sake and try to speed up.
But it's no use, I feel my head go light from the blood loss and days with out food, my eyes start to fog, so I turn and slam my back against a wooden wall and slide down, I use the dark green cloak and cover me and Arthur. I pressed a finger to my lips and looked to Arthur's green eyes, he hiccuped a sob and copied my action by putting a tiny finger against his shaking lips.
The sounds if the villagers feet hitting the wet ground passed straight by us and I glare at the side where I hear the noise.
"Big brother..." I turn my attention back to Arthur.
"P-please keep me safe from the monsters" he hiccups, I grin and ruffle his messy blonde hair.
"Don't worry squirt, they're almost gone" I whisper hearing the 'Monsters' clatter their pitchforks and turn on their heel back in the direction they came from.

I sigh loosening my grip on Arthur and leaning my head back on the stone. Arthur balls up his fists and leans on my chest for support on my lap.
"A-a-ah b-big brother —You're hurt!" Arthur panics seeing the arrow sticking out my shoulder, I grind my teeth remembering the pain and set Arthur down at my side, he grips my sleeve as I take the arrow carefully in my hand.
"Squirt, close yer eyes and cover yer ears." I say, Arthur nods still letting tears roll off his cheeks. I mentally count down from three and biting my lip, I quickly pull out the arrow.
"GAHK!" I clamp my mouth shut and throw the arrow across the flow to slide in a puddle.
"Did you hear that?! They're over here!"
"Shit." I mutter scooping Arthur back in my arms as I hear the villagers running towards us again.
"I'm loosing a lot of blood... And loosing energy... I won't... Last long... At this rate...".

Finally loosing my balance; I slipped and fell, spinning around to automatically protect Arthur again, I clamp my eyes shut and wait for the impact... But I felt nothing. Slowly cracking my eyes open, I see Arthur shaking in fear and looking above my head, I look up and see I was caught. The person had a hood on but I saw the outline of their frame being that of a boys. I tried to shove him off knowing not to trust anyone, but my energy had long left me and my eyes fell closed.

[(F/n)'s P.O.V:]
I was stunned. Stunned was all I could possibly use to describe how a handsome boy my age, maybe looking a bit older, holding a little boy, both wearing large coats, fell; collapsed into my arms. Alarmed and worried, I lifted the eldest ones form up to look at him, he had blood gushing from his shoulder and the little blonde boy looked utterly terrified of me, so much so that he held onto the larger ones form for dear life and didn't tear his eyes away from my own.
Once I'd taken off the hood and seen the two black horns peaking out of messy red hair; I sprang into action and carried the two into my house, I put them on my couch and left for medical equipment.

The little blonde boy instantly tried to defend who he said was his big brother by running around me and nocking things from my hands, but after what felt like a lifetime, I managed to get the red headed demon bandaged. Once the little demon by had seen how I was helping him; he'd stopped disrupting me and simply held onto his brothers sleeve sniffling tears.
I sighed placing a blanket over his sleeping form and did my best to feed water through his parted lips, of course getting his little brothers permission first.

Seeing blood on my hands; I left to the kitchen to was it off, as I ringed my hands clean, I felt a tug on my long pants. I turned and saw a head of messy blonde hair with two black horns looking at the floor, shaking from crying and gripping my pants.
"T-Th-Thank you..." A soft broken voice murmured. My face broke into a smile and I wiped my hands on a towel and crouched down to his level.
"It's okay, your big brother's going to be all right now." I say and slowly, as if the boy would break on contact, raise my hand and gently pat his head.
"You were such a brave boy for looking after him" I smile gently ruffling the boys hair. I lean my head down a little lower and see his glossy green eyes brim with fresh tears ready to fall and his fangs biting his bottom lip to try to refrain from sobbing.
"My name's (f/n) (l/n), what's yours?" I ask removing my hand from his head, taking out a handkerchief from my back pocket and wiping the dirt off his cheeks.
"A-Arthur, Arthur K-Kirkland" he sniffles gripping onto the ragged end of his worn out shirt.
"We'll its nice to meet you Arthur, and are you hurt anywhere?" I ask wiping the tears off his face.
"N-no, my big brother protected me f-from the monsters" he says, looking like the mere mention of his brother would send him back into sobs.

"I tell you what Arthur, why don't we go find some of my old clothes for you to wear so I can wash your dirty ones, then I can make us some dinner. Would you like that?" I ask standing a little.
"O-okay" he mumbled, I smile and outstretch my hand that he hesitantly takes.

~Time skip~

[Allistor's P.O.V:]
"Ngh..." I groan raising a hand to rub my throbbing head. My entire body ached from pain and exhaustion... But... Strangely, a lot less than it should. I got an arrow to the shoulder, possibly some fractured ribs, too many cuts and bruises and I collapsed from blood loss–Wait! I Collapsed!
I recall my last moments before blacking out and leap from the surface I laid on, instantly gripping my head at the aftershock throbbing form my quick motion, I take the time to see that I was in what looked like a lounge room on a couch with a warm blanket on.
"Hehe!" My eyes widen hearing Arthur's voice. My protective instincts rushed through my exhausted body and ignoring the aching; I sprang to my feet and ran to where my ears heard Arthur.

I spun around a corner and saw Arthur sitting at a table with his back to me swinging his legs watching a shadow emerge from another room, I crossed my eye brows and sprang at the figure as it came into the room.
My hand around the neck of what my eyes adjusted to was a boy about the same age as me with widened (e/c) eyes and (h/s) (h/c) hair, I gripped a hand around his throat an had him pressed to the wall as a growled began in my throat.
"If you touched so much as one hair on Arthur's head, ye're as good as dead you Monster." I growl, watching the shock paint the boys face as I tightened my grip.
"Big Brother! Don't hurt him!" Arthur yells flying up to my side and grabbing my bandaged arm.

"Wha–Arthur, yer flyin" I say watching him flap his wings next to me.
"Yeah! (F/n) fed me lots and now I've got lots and lots of energy" he says tugging on my arm on the boy named (f/n)'s neck.
"Now let him go!" He yells, pulling my arm, I reluctantly release the boy and roughly ruffle Arthur's hair.
"You've got a real mouth on ye, don't you squirt" I grumble pushing past the two. I hear Arthur say something along the lines of an apology to the boy whose yet to earn my trust, as he rubs the red marks and wipes away the drips of blood leaking from where my nails had pierced his skin. I returned to the couch I woke up on and wrapped the blanket back around my form, thinking that the boy, after that warning, wouldn't hurt Arthur, I dozed off from the sheer exhaustion.

After a short while; I felt a weight on my side and the foreign smell of something delicious cloud around me. I crack my eyes open and see Arthur asleep in a large shirt and fluffy blanket with his head resting on my side, I turn my head forward and see a plate of casserole emitting a delicious smell. I unconsciously lick my lips and feel my stomach rumble, not remembering the las time I'd been well fed.
"I tried to offer him a bed but he didn't want to leave your side" I spin around and see (f/n) sitting on the arm of the chair.
"He kept saying 'Big brother Allistor will keep be safe from the monsters!', so I gave him a blanket and said to try not to wake you." He smiles giving me a mug of what smelled like hot chocolate.
"Make sure you eat, you need to get some food in you" he says getting up to side in another couch, I cautiously eye the delicious looking food and examine the mug of hot chocolate.
"Haha, don't worry I didn't poison it or anything" (f/n) laughs putting a hand over his mouth.

Eventually I give in and devour the gorgeous food and hot drink, all the wile eyeing (f/n) on the couch reading a book of some sort. Now that I'd thought about it; this situation is practically impossible, I'd met a human, by accident, and they didn't kill me on sight. No; he took me and Arthur at my most desperate and vulnerable time and nurtured us, fed us, treated us like people and was kind to us. He'd only shown us complete kindness and caring, he'd aided me and practically healed me completely, he'd make Arthur like him enough to call him by name and asked for nothing in return.
Now I felt a pang of guilt hit me for almost strangling him, I watched him as I chewed, I saw him uncomfortably rub the back of his neck where my nails hand cut him, my expression changed from one of distrust to worry. I felt somewhat like I'd grown a connection with this (f/n), like his kindness had sprouted a sort of affection in my heart and seeing that I'd actually physically hurt him tugged at my heart strings.

When I'd finished; (f/n) took the plates into the bathroom and began washing them, I carefully placed Arthur so he was lying down asleep and followed to where (f/n) was. I slowly walked up behind him and tapped the empty mug on his shoulder, he spins his head around and I look away slightly.
"Thanks for... Ye know, thanks for helping me 'n Arthur..." I murmur as he smiles and takes the mug.
"It's no problem, I'm happy you're feeling better." He smiles washing the mug.
"Yeah, about that. Can I ask?" He looks to me questionably.
"Why would you help us?" I ask leaning my back on the bench top and crossing my hands.
"Why wouldn't I?" He responds.
"You needed help, I don't see what the big deal is that I wanted to help a man and his little brother out" he explains now drying off the mug.
"The, big deal, is that no one would ever do that." I state, a little angry with myself for how true the statement was.
"Well I'm not 'no one' I'm (f/n) and I would always help who ever is in need" he smiles brightly making me bite the inside of my cheek.
"That brings me to another question; why ant you appalled by us? You know we're demons, different from you humans, yet the entire time we've been here, not one have u heard you call us a demon or treat us like one." I ask looking at the floor boards.
"I treat you like people; that's how I'd assume you'd want to be treated anyway. You are a person, the fact that you're demons doesn't mean you should be treated differently, at the end of the day we're all people and should all be treated equally like people." My green eyes widen at his explanation and any words I had, died in my throat. All I could do was freeze and stare at the floor, completely taken back and perplexed at how kind (f/n) was and how he knew exactly what I'd wanted since I could remember; to be treated like a person, not a demon.

~Small Time skip~

"Listen, I'm sorry about yer neck" I confess looking guiltily at the marks on the back of (f/n)'s neck as he bent his head down to stroke Arthur's head as he laid on (f/n)s lap asleep. The (h/c) haired boy nervously puts a hand on his neck to trace the area.
"Oh-a haha, no don't worry about it, it's alright" he smiles rubbing the ares making in begin to bleed again.
"It's not okay, it's bleeding again" I sat leaning over, grabbing his hand and quickly pressing my lips over the sore area, I hear stuttering noises from (f/n) as I lick away the blood off of the side of his neck. I lean further across the couch, over the sleeping Arthur, and continue to lick up the blood and gently kiss the scratch.
I slowly part from his neck and see (f/n)'s face flushed red, panting short breaths and his shaking lips desperately trying to form words, I gulped and starred at the irresistible sight.
Slowly and hesitantly; I stretched closer, so much so that I could feel (f/n)s breath on my lips and not wasting another second; I kissed him. The surprise of my kiss quickly wore off and (f/n) instantly responded by putting his free hand on my shoulder and kissing me back, I smirked licking over his lips that he parted to invite me in.
I smiled returning with a passionate kiss, plunging my tongue into new territory and giving the kiss all I could; (f/n) had been nothing but kind, welcoming and accepting to me and Arthur I'm our most desperate time, I had to show him how grateful I am that he'd done so much for us.
I slowly used my other hand to cup his cheek and help him into the fiery kiss, but loosing air, we parted, hot ragged breaths the only thing to escape our lips, I licked my lips and smiled; returning for another kiss when I froze hearing shuffling.

"Hgnn... Big brother? (F/n)...? What're you doing?" Arthur asks slowly sitting up and rubbing his eyes making me pissed off that he'd interrupted.
"Ah-um W-we were–Allistor what are you doing?!"
"Punishment."
"Waaahh! Stop hurting Me big brother!" Arthur whines as I give him a double noogie (twisting your fists on both sides of ones head) making him cry in protest. I cross my arms as Arthur jumps into (f/n)'s lap letting him shush him and pat his head gently.
"Now now Arthur, it's late and we should all get to sleep" (f/n) smiles standing up as he holds onto Arthur.
"Yeah, we need to get some shut eye" I agree standing and following (f/n) to the bedrooms. We spent a couple of minutes trying to convince Arthur to stay in the bed (f/n)'d set up of him and I, but he cried saying he didn't want to.

"Well do you want to sleep in my bed then, huh?" (F/n) asks.
"Will you protect me from the monsters too?" Arthur asks putting a fist to his mouth.
"I promise" (f/n) smiles holding out his pinky that Arthur smiles at and wraps his pinky around, Arthur laughs in excitement and turns to me.
"Come on big brother, we can sleep in (f/n)'s bed and its okay 'cause he's gonna keep us safe from the monsters too!" Arthur smiles and I raise an eyebrow showing off a little smirk.
"Do I get to sleep there too?" I ask making (f/n) blush a little.
"If you want to" he smiles walking down the hall with Arthur at his hip as I follow.

We lay in (f/n)s bed; him on the right facing the centre, Arthur in the middle facing him and me on the left facings the centre. I smiled watching their sleeping faces, I watched the gently rhythm of their breathing and the way their chests rose and fell, I grabbed the blanket and raised it to their shoulders as I snuggle more into it to get warmer. I raised my hand over Arthur's form to keep him warmer and felt my fingers brush (f/n)s.
We unconsciously linked hands and I smile, there's no way enough for me to express my gratitude.
(F/n) is the most kind hearted, selfless, kind, irresistible, good natured person I've ever and probably will ever meet.
And I love him.

I felt somewhat like I'd grown a connection with this (f/n), like his kindness had sprouted a sort of affection in my heart and seeing that I'd actually physically hurt him tugged at my heart strings.

When I'd finished; (f/n) took the plates into the bathroom and began washing them, I carefully placed Arthur so he was lying down asleep and followed to where (f/n) was. I slowly walked up behind him and tapped the empty mug on his shoulder, he spins his head around and I look away slightly.
"Thanks for... Ye know, thanks for helping me 'n Arthur..." I murmur as he smiles and takes the mug.
"It's no problem, I'm happy you're feeling better." He smiles washing the mug.
"Yeah, about that. Can I ask?" He looks to me questionably.
"Why would you help us?" I ask leaning my back on the bench top and crossing my hands.
"Why wouldn't I?" He responds.
"You needed help, I don't see what the big deal is that I wanted to help a man and his little brother out" he explains now drying off the mug.
"The, big deal, is that no one would ever do that." I state, a little angry with myself for how true the statement was.
"Well I'm not 'no one' I'm (f/n) and I would always help who ever is in need" he smiles brightly making me bite the inside of my cheek.
"That brings me to another question; why ant you appalled by us? You know we're demons, different from you humans, yet the entire time we've been here, not one have u heard you call us a demon or treat us like one." I ask looking at the floor boards.
"I treat you like people; that's how I'd assume you'd want to be treated anyway. You are a person, the fact that you're demons doesn't mean you should be treated differently, at the end of the day we're all people and should all be treated equally like people." My green eyes widen at his explanation and any words I had, died in my throat. All I could do was freeze and stare at the floor, completely taken back and perplexed at how kind (f/n) was and how he knew exactly what I'd wanted since I could remember; to be treated like a person, not a demon.

~Small Time skip~

"Listen, I'm sorry about yer neck" I confess looking guiltily at the marks on the back of (f/n)'s neck as he bent his head down to stroke Arthur's head as he laid on (f/n)s lap asleep. The (h/c) haired boy nervously puts a hand on his neck to trace the area.
"Oh-a haha, no don't worry about it, it's alright" he smiles rubbing the ares making in begin to bleed again.
"It's not okay, it's bleeding again" I sat leaning over, grabbing his hand and quickly pressing my lips over the sore area, I hear stuttering noises from (f/n) as I lick away the blood off of the side of his neck. I lean further across the couch, over the sleeping Arthur, and continue to lick up the blood and gently kiss the scratch.
I slowly part from his neck and see (f/n)'s face flushed red, panting short breaths and his shaking lips desperately trying to form words, I gulped and starred at the irresistible sight.
Slowly and hesitantly; I stretched closer, so much so that I could feel (f/n)s breath on my lips and not wasting another second; I kissed him. The surprise of my kiss quickly wore off and (f/n) instantly responded by putting his free hand on my shoulder and kissing me back, I smirked licking over his lips that he parted to invite me in.
I smiled returning with a passionate kiss, plunging my tongue into new territory and giving the kiss all I could; (f/n) had been nothing but kind, welcoming and accepting to me and Arthur I'm our most desperate time, I had to show him how grateful I am that he'd done so much for us.
I slowly used my other hand to cup his cheek and help him into the fiery kiss, but loosing air, we parted, hot ragged breaths the only thing to escape our lips, I licked my lips and smiled; returning for another kiss when I froze hearing shuffling.

"Hgnn... Big brother? (F/n)...? What're you doing?" Arthur asks slowly sitting up and rubbing his eyes making me pissed off that he'd interrupted.
"Ah-um W-we were–Allistor what are you doing?!"
"Punishment."
"Waaahh! Stop hurting Me big brother!" Arthur whines as I give him a double noogie (twisting your fists on both sides of ones head) making him cry in protest. I cross my arms as Arthur jumps into (f/n)'s lap letting him shush him and pat his head gently.
"Now now Arthur, it's late and we should all get to sleep" (f/n) smiles standing up as he holds onto Arthur.
"Yeah, we need to get some shut eye" I agree standing and following (f/n) to the bedrooms. We spent a couple of minutes trying to convince Arthur to stay in the bed (f/n)'d set up of him and I, but he cried saying he didn't want to.

"Well do you want to sleep in my bed then, huh?" (F/n) asks.
"Will you protect me from the monsters too?" Arthur asks putting a fist to his mouth.
"I promise" (f/n) smiles holding out his pinky that Arthur smiles at and wraps his pinky around, Arthur laughs in excitement and turns to me.
"Come on big brother, we can sleep in (f/n)'s bed and its okay 'cause he's gonna keep us safe from the monsters too!" Arthur smiles and I raise an eyebrow showing off a little smirk.
"Do I get to sleep there too?" I ask making (f/n) blush a little.
"If you want to" he smiles walking down the hall with Arthur at his hip as I follow.

We lay in (f/n)s bed; him on the right facing the centre, Arthur in the middle facing him and me on the left facings the centre. I smiled watching their sleeping faces, I watched the gently rhythm of their breathing and the way their chests rose and fell, I grabbed the blanket and raised it to their shoulders as I snuggle more into it to get warmer. I raised my hand over Arthur's form to keep him warmer and felt my fingers brush (f/n)s.
We unconsciously linked hands and I smile, there's no way enough for me to express my gratitude.
(F/n) is the most kind hearted, selfless, kind, irresistible, good natured person I've ever and probably will ever meet.
And I love him.
