i don't think the manipulation in this is terribly obvious... but the lady on the top of the ridge is actually cut and pasted from another photo... everything else is filters and colour manipulation...the two photos used are both from my own stock...
(in fact, you may recognise the figure of `hbynoe from [link] )... EDIT: desaturated the image of the woman...

ps... my aunty arlene came over sat nite for my uncle's b/day... she made roti... hehehe... yumyumyumyum... we had curried chicken, vindaloo pork, vindaloo stiring beans, curried chick peas, squash... ahhhhhhhhhh... oh yeah... and mango chutney and some pickle...
eat your heart out... and defintely something for you to look forward to when you come HOME!!! yay!!!
aren't their caribbean food places though??? when i lived in toronto i remember there being one at the end of my street... used to have roti, pelau and jerk on a regular basis!!!

I live in london, not toronto. only white people live here. and i live in the suburbs, the closest to anything 'ehtnic' here is the corner store run by koreans on my street. There is one caribbena food store here, it would take me 2 hours to get there by bus.
I am going to make curry...out of a package.
xmas will be sad for me as i will be saying goodbye to lots of things. my parents are selling the house and moving away. the government is going to hell and mommy does not want to live in a place where foreign countries and people who don't come from there and have no interest in living there own all the land. So they are selling everything and leaving. It means I have nowhere to go when i come home (I will no longer have a home), unless I come by you all. I am hoping they buy a little shack so we can go back to it sometime.
OK, off to make my curry....

I made the worst curry I have ever tasted. It's like the chicken did not absorb the taste at all.
I have been in a bad now for like 12 hours....gggrrrr. I can't believe I have to work in this kind of mood.

heat some oil, add the onion and garlic, stir fry it a bit, add the curry and stir fry that too... cook it a bit... then add the chicken (pre-seasoned)... erm... yeah... i think...
