Upon defeat of The Negaverse, Queen Beryl shattered the souls of her minions, forcing each Sprite to fuse with a monster's soul and trapping Amethyst in Catrine DeMew. Now awakened, Amethyst uses Catrine's body to destroy Monster High and kill the Sprites so that The Negaverse will rule all.
