thanks fer the helpful tips... i got er dun in inkscape but it kept freezin up on me, so using the same kinda effects a dun bout the same thing in gimp....check out wat i did with it if ya want

hey, i had a peek at your results. it looks like you're doing fine. did you see my halftone tut for gimp?

also, for the inkscape tut, it may seem like your computer is frozen but it may not be. i find that the effect takes several minutes to work. when you press create, let it work for a few minutes without pressing anything else. you might go and get a sandwich or something

yea, i looked at the gimp one to and it kinda helped too...but when i use inkscape somtimes it does take a while, but then it just stops workin. i have vista tho, go figger
