You made a good attempt at tackling foreshortening, here. What you need to remember, though, is that objects look larger as they're closer to you. That means that since her hand and the gun are "closer" to the viewer than the rest of her arm and body, they need to appear bigger. (Try tracing this and making her gun and the hand it's in twice the size they are now, to test this.)
It's a cool-looking character, though. Love the hair.
