Goals

Harper came to Hiems Mansion to escape the potential ridicule and hatred of humans, and to be with people whom she can fully express herself without having to hide her Harpy (bird-like) traits. SO basically, to, hopefully, eliminate her social anxiety/awkwardness.

Personality
Harper is often described as being "socially unstable" or socially anxious, awkward and weird. Her aim, which is beginning to take place, is to get rid of this social anxiety and learn to trust others of whom she can relate to. She tries to appreciate every moment as her mother, and similarly her father, suffered to get her here. She tries to take on every task optimistically but her social anxiety can still 'appear'. If she's in a situation which leaves her scared, sad, nervous or just plain awkward she will hide it with an obviously-fake laugh.
All in all, she tries to appear happy.

History

Harper was born to a Harpy mother and human father, making her a Harpy/Human hybrid. Human relations and even more so Harpy/Human hybrids were greatly discourage in the Harpy Community. As punishment, her Mother was put into life long captivity, and her and her father were banished from the lands of which the Harpies resided.

Harper and her father lived on pure human lands to where she was school. Her Harpy-bird feet had her wearing oversized boots for the majority of her life.
Her struggle to live peacefully with humans became more difficult at the onset of puberty, at age 13. Her Harpy inheritence was progressively becoming more physical as she began to grow feathers from her arms and the back area of her hips, as well as unusually sharp top-jawed canines among humans, that is. Concelling such traits was not so easy, leaving her home-bound for a number of years, deepening the depth of her social anxiety.

Her father agreed to let her leave on her own to Hiem's Mansion to be around people of whom she can relate to. Upon arrival she no longer feels the need to hide her Harpy traits (no boots!!) and found a liking to crop tops and perfume. Although social anxiety still lurks around she has become more open, expressive and have made friends with people whom she can trust.

Harper: Oh hey do yo- *stops in mid sentence. Slowly sneaks up to you face to face* I smell cottage cheese *sniffs* WITH GHERKIN!! Where'd you get it? *Looks around excitedly whilst her mouth begins to salivate at the idea of a possible pantry full to raid* Oh *dips head lower into shoulders with an embarrassed smirk* S-sorry I just really like cottage cheese...especially with gherkin... *stands up straight* How are you? ah eh he he...*tries to hide the embarrassment of her hyper outburst*

*walking towards the void tower when she sports a large tank* Hmm I wonder who we've got in he-*eyes widen when a large ray like creature speedily approaches to the side of the tank she's at* oh no no no no, not today, please not today there's already another thing wanted to eat me!*quickly turns and RUN FOREST RUN!

Paragraph Sample

"hey, do yo-" Harper stops midpoint in her sentence only to switch focus to a rather irresistible, succulent smell. She heads closer to the person of which it is coming from. She goes up onto tip toes to get face to face with the person, making dead-set eye contact. "I smell cottage cheese" she says before she takes another sniff, "WITH GHERKIN!!"....

Sorry Her character most definitely needs tuning up and polishing but hopefully she's good for now.
