Speaking of inspiration, I read the Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle for the third time recently, I could very easily read again, cos I love the book and the author. I had an image in my mind I wanted to sketch out, the hound against the moon, (Just as Watson sees a mysterious figure silhouetted against the moon, I won't reveal the details for those who haven't read it) so it eventually became a very untidy painting. You can see the sketch lines, I didn't care enough to get rid of.
