Another old OC redesign! Dami originated from my very old story "New Life" which I wrote at age 12. In it, she also had an identical twin sister called Alisha, but since identical twins are apparently very rare in canines and I don't want to have an overkill of characters I don't use, I decided to just outright scrap Alisha. Alisha's only purpose in "New Life" was to be fridged anyways.

So, funny story about this redesign: by now I have completely and utterly forgotten what both Dami and Alisha looked like. They looked 100% identical in the first story, and I recall them being brown and having blue or yellow eyes. But that's where it ends. Their shade of brown, their markings, their actual eye color: a complete mystery because all I ever did was write about them, I never drew them. Some of my other characters who originated in "New Life" (e.g. Maggie, Avan, Emily) I at the very least drew them once, sometimes multiple times. That was NOT the case with Dami and Alisha, and I basically have no memory of what they looked like.

For this redesign I decided to give her both one yellow and one blue eye as a hint at both eye color possibilities. For the fur color I wanted something "rich" brown, but I also didn't want to go to reddish, purplish or orange/golden-brown like I did for other wolf characters. So I ended up blending Maggie's fur color with Emily's to create this color for Dami!

Personality-wise there's not a lot to her but she was kind of a wallflower in the book. Definitely one of Maggie's back-up bullies (alongside Alisha) but she didn't really have many significant moments in "New Life". Perhaps I can use her for a new story in this new design, though!
