Yay Randall! Play that smooth jazz!
Man he looks cool here. He's probably just gotten into his double digits (10 years old), looking for a side-job, and got into the band and is swinging it
Is that black cricle round his eyes a Little Rascal referrance?

Little Rascals were...uhh...I dunno, a group of kids popular in black and white days. Think one had a black circle around his eye (think it was a black-eye telescope prank or something ^0^)

Aw, so cute! Perfect instrument for him, too! I absolutely love the way you draw him. It's always nice to see pictures of him without that damn evil grin of his. Nicely done!

It's cute as ever, but you KNOW I've got a real problem with Randall being stereotyped as a "villain", ESPECIALLY with the notion that he went to college to learn how to be evil and bad and all those things. He was just an ordinary guy, who got caught up in something over his head, and he was totally under the control of his boss. If anyone doubts that, or thinks that Randall was making a choice to work with Waternoose, just re-watch that scene in which Waternoose is verbally abusing him(probably not for the first time, either), yelling at him that "I KNEW I never should have trusted YOU with this! Because of YOU, I had to banish my best Scarer", and then, "James P. Sullivan was TWICE the Scarer YOU'LL EVER be!" If Randall REALLY had a choice, why did he just take that crap? All he can do is cringe and then growl behind his boss's back like a beaten dog that's been backed into a corner. If he really had any say-so at all, he'd have just pulled a Johnny Paycheck(famous dead Country singer whose biggest hit was called, "Take This Job and Shove It")and walked out!

By the way, it's pretty much official that Pixar is making a sequel to "Monsters, Inc.". I don't know if Randall will be in it, or if so, in what capacity, but in the BOOM!comic, due out in August, which takes place AFTER the movie, he IS in it, so he DID at least survive that beating in the trailer. I'm kicking off an effort to try to get Pixar to give the guy a second chance in the sequel, to show his other side and show that people CAN change, through a letter-writing campaign. It might not do any good, but I'm going to give it my best shot! If it does nothing, and they negatively stereotype Randall as a villain again, then WALL-E will be the last Pixar movie I'll ever spend money on.

Oh,dear!
It's a GREAT new!Thanks for told me!!!*O*
I want Randall in Monsters,Inc. 2,and I want him good,too!
I bet there is a reason because Randall is "bad"...
And I ABSOLUTELY Agree with you, people can change!
I hope that Pixar gives to him a second chance.....

Write to them, in care of Peter Docter(he will be directing the sequel, also), and let them know how you feel! DON'T write a fanfic or a script, just let them now how much you like Randall, and how you believe in second chances, and how much you'd really love to see him get a chance to redeem himself and show that other side we KNOW is there. Pixar's address is Pixar Animation Studios, 1200 Park Avenue, Emeryville, California, USA 94608. I'm not sure how that address would look if you're not in the US, though, which is why I including "USA" in the address. Obviously, anyone writing from the US would not need to put that. Check online and see if Pixar has an address that you can send them mail to from Italy, to make sure I'm not telling you the wrong thing. The movie is still in its earliest stages at this point, meaning that the details of the script have not yet been finalized, so perhaps we still have a chance to make a difference and see if Pixar REALLY does listen to their fans, as they claim, or if that's all a lie.
