EDIT 9/12/23: Fixed Odelia's face a bit in her main model, changed her horns, made her eyelashes thicker in some places, gave Octavia's eyes a glowing effect, redrew Stolas and gave him the correct face and top of cape colours as opposed to the 100% white I've been using, as well as changed the design things on the top part of his cape.

So, since my poll got positive results, (96% voted yes!), I decided I should go ahead and submit my Helluva Boss OC I had mentioned in it.

So, say hello to my Helluva Boss imp OC, Odelia.

I've had her since about late August 2021, or September 2021. I've enjoyed drawing her a lot off to the side. I don't even know where to start with writing this, oof.

Keep in mind, none of this is "canon," obviously lol.

Odelia is childhood best friends with Octavia Goetia. I headcanon they met one year during the Harvest Moon festival; Octavia had wandered on her own to play some kind of festival games but kept sucking at them, so little Odelia who was there (she's not from Wrath, but she went to the festival each year anyway), decided to help her out and by pure luck won the game and gave Octavia whatever prize she wanted. She wanted to help Via because she saw how much the lil' owl was struggling and decided to help out. She didn't know Octavia was the Princess yet, but the two spent more time together from then and found out they had some things in common. Basically, they developed a friendship quickly until Octavia met back up with her parents. At first, Stella was put off by her daughter befriending a lowly imp of all things, but Octavia didn't care because she really enjoyed spending time with her. So from then on, Octavia and Odelia spent more time together. Usually with a chaperone because Stella and Stolas wanted Via to be safe, of course. And when she did find out Octavia was the Princess Goetia, she didn't care, she liked her for her because they got along so well.

When they first met, the two kiddos liked each other more when Octavia said "Odelia? That sounds kinda like Octavia!" when she learned of Octavia's name.

So yeah, these two became inseperable. They're besties for life.

Anyways, Odelia is very friendly and outgoing, but has a bit of attitude at times. Especially at her job. But she's easy to get along with. She's also a bit independent because her parents aren't really home that much. She's 19 years old, so she is legally an adult. Or, whatever the age of adulthood is in Hell, but whatever.

And onto the real reason why I've hesitated on posting her on here for months...

She is in love with Stolas, her best friend's dad. She keeps it secret, though, for a long time. It developed as a small crush when she was 15, but it got stronger over the years.

Now, don't get any wrong ideas. Stolas was too oblivious and only ever saw her as Octavia's best friend, which he didn't mind his precious Via being friends with an imp. He wasn't really around much when Octavia and Odelia hung out because of Prince duties, y'know? So he didn't know much about her or see either, just "Oh, she's Via's best friend, okay whatever." And as such, he didn't really have an opinion on her one way or the other, he didn't pay her any mind. So again, don't get any creepy ideas. Besides, the show takes place in Hell, I'm pretty sure worse things happen. But this ain't it. And don't get triggered I'm shipping Stolas with a female/someone who isn't Blitzo, because my other Hazbin/Boss stuff is completely canon divergent anyway, I'm just doing this for fun.

And truthfully, part of the inspiration for making Odelia was reading some unfinished Stolas x reader fic where the reader was Octavia's bestie, but was a demon. I wanted to make an imp anyway, and I realized I could pair her with Stolas. Because I wanted to pair an OC with him...and I ended up deciding to go with the "Oh no my bestie's dad is HOT!" trope but with her as an imp and not a "normal" demon like in the fanfic lol.

But yeah, I ship Stolas and Odelia HARD. Because I'm not a fan of St0l1tz at ALL, and I want someone to make Stolas genuinely happy romantically, y'know? Especially after the end of Ozzie's part 1. And this way, it leaves the boss Blitz free to date whoever. But in all seriousness, I did want to ship Stolas with somebody because I do like him. I have other predetermined ships I have in Helluva Boss, but I didn't have anyone for Stolas. Because Stella ain't gonna take him back I'm sure.

Besides, I just *love* imagining all the drama and angst that could come from this coupling.

And don't worry, she doesn't exist *solely* to be with Stolas. I created her before I thought of that. I'll probably add her in future pictures and stuff alongside Hazbin Boss stuff and all that.

But yeah, felt like making this little reference sheet for my imp OC Odelia. I'll try to upload more of her in the future! ^^

Also, I'm thinking she lives alone because her parents were in Pentagram City one day, forgetting it was Cleansing day, and yeah. But Octavia is immediately there for her best friend. I'm thinking it happens when she's 16 or 17. And that's why she keeps staying in a Hellish job she can't stand, so as to support herself.

Her original outfit looked more "punk 2007 Paramore" kinda, but then I read some Sims 3 legacy, and one character's outfit was just AWESOME, I decided to change her outfit to look similar to it because I loved it lol. Also, yes, she has a pentagram necklace. Also, the formal dress, I imagine Octavia picked it out and paid for it for her because she's her bestie. :3c

Being canon divergent and doing your own thing is always much more fun and satisfying.

Also, my friend StaleTales added her to his story as well, however what happens to her in that story isn't canon for her. It's basically an AU for Odelia. What *I* say is canon, Odelia in his story is a different timeline for her basically. I'm flattered he loved her enough to include her in his story. ^^

If I had to give Odelia a voice, I would choose Ashley Johnson. (You would know her voice as Terra from Teen Titans, or more recently, Ellie from Last of Us...at least the first game)
