it's random.
I don't think I've really tried to.... expand... what I draw in a while. When I have the time, I try to draw different kinds of things or experiment with something other than pen.
But when I just have an itch to draw something in my free time I grab a black pen and some sort of patterns & wings & candles & roses & flowy outfit comes out. Occasionally I get bored with what I draw and feel like it's repetitive...
but oh well. I'm okay with that.

well, I actually like it better than the colored version, but I just have a thing for black and white. For an improvised drawing, it's got a really nice flow to it...the arcs and the flow of the material really work well together.

omigod you did not just make an insecure comment on your work. darling, looking at your art literally makes me want to go home, cry my eyes out, slit my wrists, and quit being an artist sometimes, it's really just that goddamn beautiful. the flowers and candles and shit are simply your motifs and I would argue that more often than not they enhance your work because I know exactly whose stuff I'm looking at without even having to check. that said, if you want to expand your horizons, then go for it! honestly, I would spit in the eye of anyone who says your art couldn't improve from stepping outside your boundaries.

no, I don't really know actually what it is, I just add random details sometimes without thinking, they just look cool
