The guy in yellow was the announcer for the Joust. He explained the various ways that participants practiced. The knights would then show how each of the things worked. "Static Pig and running pig" (a bag of straw that was placed on the ground or pulled along behind a squire, that the knight would try to pierce with a spear).

The guy in blue was a merchant from the blacksmith stall. He was making wooden swords and explaining the process the blacksmith would go through to make real swords. (They couldn't make real swords because they didn't have the license) The actual blacksmith had a fire and bellows and he was shaping a fire poker at the time.
