Description Thai-based trainee "sorceresses", nicknames Chan(ชน, the skinny one) and "immigrant" Sacred Flower(พระมาลย์, the chunky, skull-clad one). Despite working with elements conflicting each other, they maintain a strong sisterhood, and their elements interestingly subdue themselves when they are together. A united dichotomy, kinda like Day and Night...

But why & how is Miss Flower an immigrant? Ah, not now...

Another foray into Dharmic creativity; I could have elaborated more on Chan's outfit but nevertheless, I'm very satisfied with this result, hope I could do more of this ilk in the future.

The stupa city in the background were based off the ruins of Buddhist Kingdoms Ayutthaya and Bagan.

Thanks~

Actually, I don't have a "specific way" of drawing backgrounds; here I copied some parts off of actual ancient architecture. (Google Bagan or Ayutthaya for photos of said ruins).

There are some hints though concerning "technique".

After the initial draft, I draw over the lines again, this time with more pressure (I draw pressing down hard with my mechanical lead). That is to finalize and make smooth the linework (embed it onto the paper so it remains when I erase the rough parts, kind of like engraving I guess XD).
For distant trees/foliage or small details, less pressure and gentle strokes. I do this only when I want a finalized pencil-lineart...
