Description Veterean Brand pugilist, nickname "Golden Wing" in full power, both wings synthesized & in healthy form! Projectile rain, ultra-fast defensives, sheer energy that can engulf territories in flames... you name it and she slays in spades.

But what was the opposing force that caused her to lift all restrictions? She has only done this one time and in a classified coerced mission she didn't want to be part of. Exit one mystery door, enter another...

Yep, she definitely did...
Also she was in total enemy territory so there were no friendly casualties thankfully...

WOOOW. Such detail. And awesome design o3o That description is really intriguing !

Is this pen or really dark pencil....?

Awww Thanks a Lot~ she needs a proper name though...

This is ball-point pen line, my pencilled arts are always "brighter" with a vague grey tone.

You're welcome. x3
For a name for her I think something mythological. But I am really bad with names. =3=

Wow. I am so envious of you. o3o I can't line with actual pens to save my life. =3=

I'm bad with them too, it's hard to come up with something less "obvious" even in hint.

Awww Thanks again...
I think that with patience & time, anyone can create lovely lineart & inks. You have an incredible hand with lines already. (This is your best and is close to vibrant ink-styled linework. Heck I need to learn more... [link] )

Yeaah. I have kinda given up on using meanings in names. Unless I feel it could be useful to the story.

Well, I have the help of stabilzers in digital programs. hehe.
but even then I usually draw the same line several times before I 'm happy with that one individual line. With traditional lineart it's not as easy to do that so I guess that's what frustrates me.

Names don't always have to be meaningful, as long as they are catchy & creative it's all fine...
Yes, also one should be very patient with each traditional stroke, one can white-out mistakes but that stain totally changes the overall feel of the piece already...
Stabilizers? What are digital stabilizers?

Chawlk In reply to ItouKhai35 [2012-06-21 08:15:13 +0000 UTC]

True. It does depend on the significance to the story, I suppose.

It does. =3= I hardly ever own white-out.

Stabilizer, as it sounds really, it makes your lines less wonky. With SAI, it has a option between 0 (no stabilizing at all) and 15 (very smooth)
It also has some extra options S-1 to S-7
I'm not really sure about those. But I use S-7 to draw straight lines.
My stabilizer is usually only at 4, but I find it still makes a difference.

Okay... I get it now.
Thanks a Lot for the detailed answer, never knew that digital programs can help clean up roughed lines so easily...

You're welcome. ^.^

Digital programs can do a lot of great things, but it makes me wonder if technique is ever lost to them.

Yeah mostly the feel of traditional medium & a sense of determination is slightly lost (digital allows infinite editing & backtracking)
Still I think it doesn't really kill them off as long as you have a grasp of the basics of drawing. Just keep your mind open and don't try to speedpaint everything... XD

Yeaah.

I still do a lot of pencil sketching but any other forms of traditional media I am really no good at.. orz

Haha yeah x3

Actually same here also, I'm just getting back into crayon/colour pencil and enjoying it, but I can NEVER do brushwork (i.e. oils, watercolours) to save my own self... ever.

I have tried water colours. I don't have the patience though to further my practice. I just make splatty paintings like a kid.
One day maybe....

I have always wanted to try markers but I don't have enough money to get a decent set. orz
