" ...watching snow fall is a wonderful thing to experience in winter." Poor me. We don't have snow falling in winter in my country.

I am so sorry I did not respond sooner (you might get a shock when you get the notice).Β
I was hard, but for reasons that are hard to explain, so bare with me on this. When I normally animates things I go onto them blindly and try and guess how to do it. Finding out how many layers I need, how to make the movement look right, all that jazz. The snow was a pain because I used another program for it and trying to keep the file size as low as possible is a real challenge. This is why it does not loop correctly.Β
I'm getting better at animating and while I can see some areas where I need to improve on this one, I can clearly see that I was able to make something enjoyable for others and that makes me happy!Β Β

Depending on what I need to do, I use After Effects and Clip Studio.

For simple frame animation I keep it in Clip studio. For more fancy things, I will use After Effects. For this pic I used after effects for the snow.
I want to do as much as I can in Clip Studio as it forces me to get better at using it. Right now I am making some bif things and keeping it in Clip Studio and hopefully will have something uploaded very soon. Β

I'm stoked that you're back, and this calm and beautiful animation you made now makes me want some hot chocolate...

It's wonderful to see these two sharing a quiet moment together just enjoying nature at its most beautiful. Along with her seldom-seen smile Lucy is adorable as she gently dangles herself on the railing.* Lincoln is pretty sweet as he stares off into the beauty of it all, so peaceful and magical. Neither minds that their coca has gotten cold as they hang out together for so long. Lovely work on the pair and great job on the background and lighting too. The snowfall effects are fantastic with the multip0le planes in play. (Too bad it can't repeat cleanly, but with the various motions that would cost a fucton of additional frames and probably even more time.) Thanks.
* I know someone suggested that she'd have to be very strong, but kids (and smaller creatures in general) typically have a greater strength-to-mass ratio.

Nothing better than winter to join lights and shadows.
