Fanart for a game I hold very close to my heart, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It's a phenomenal game, really. And over time, I've really come to appreciate the art style. And the soundtrack... really incredible.So here is my humble tribute to the Twilight Princess herself, Midna. Best companion in a Zelda game? I think so.
Experimenting further with different techniques. I am quite proud of this in some ways. However, sorry for the distinct lack of backgrounds. I was gonna do a little more with this but I just wanted to be done with it for now-- I'm really tired... But let me know what you think.

Lovely work - the headpiece and Twili markings are beautifully finished, and the hair is lovely too!
The outline also works really well, it has solidity but at the same time isn't a distraction.
...Did that makes sense? I'm not sure if it did Really cool drawing though

Ah Midna, what a weird little adorable demon companion.
I'm actually a little sad that I never finished Twilight Princess, I only hear great things about it. I got the game right when it came out, so I was still pretty young. At one point I just didn't know what I needed to do to progress further in the story, so I kinda just abandoned it. ( ._.)
That being said, dang, that's a fine piece of fanart right there. The details on her headpiece look amazing and the general pose and impression she gives fits her character really well. The only thing which I could find is that in my opinion the last little bit of her index finger on her ghost-hair hand is a tad bit long compared to the others, but I'm just nitpicking here.

Oh yeah, I actually know a couple people who were in the same situation. It has some tough puzzles for a Zelda game. Also, lakebed temple...
If you have a Wii U, you should get the HD version!
Glad you like it! The headpiece in particular was pretty challenging. It was just a lot of perspective and 3-dimensional stuff going on. I broke it all down into chunks while I was drawing it, though, so it was mostly painless. Still took longer than anything else, probably. Your feedback is appreciated!
