Peacefully, you sit at your desk staring out of the window, it appeared as if you were mirroring the raven haired boy who's seated in front of you. You both had your heads rested on the palm of your hand and eyes fixated on something other then the teacher who was rambling on about something pointless like trees. Slowly, you slipped into a daydream about going on the perfect date with (F/A/C), they leaned into kiss you when-
"____! Wake up!" Your very loud best friend shouts at you, interrupting the perfect dream.
"(F/A/C)!" You shout back, your mind partially in reality and partially in the dream. "Wait what"
Your friend face palms so hard that it looks like it actually hurts. "You have a serious problem over (F/A/C), anyways come on let's go"
"Lemme sleeeeep" You whine at her as you rest your head back on your desk and try to recreate the dream from earlier.
"No, I thought you wanted to go check out that swim club" She says, you try to remember what she's talking about but most of the time you ignore what she says since it's generally about something stupid.
"This school doesn't have a swim club" You mumble, not really caring about the answer, the dream scenario has been set up in your head now you just need to get rid of your friend.
"Y'know the one that's recently been set up and they just need members?" She answers, unsatisfied with your response she pokes you in the ribs and you squeal. "Come on, I'm going" she yanks your arm and practically drags you to the school's pool.

"Oh ma glob this is frickin' amazing" You say in awe as you stare at the glistening body of water.
"It's a bit er...deep" Your friend says, she looks as if she's scared. Is she afraid of water or something?
"Come on let's jump in!" You say running towards the edge of the pool although before you jump in your friend pulls you back by the arm.
"You're wearing your uniform, you need to wear a costume if you wanna go swimming" She states. You look down and curse at your choice of clothing. No ones here so they won't mind if you go in your underwear, you do cringe a little at the thought though. "Anyway, aren't there any other people here? I thought this is a club" Your friends continues as you both look around for people.
"Maybe they've forgotten-" You start before you're rudely interrupted.
"Shhh" Your friend puts her hand over your mouth and your instant reaction is to bite it. "Ow!" She cries, removing her hand from your mouth. "Why'd you do that!?"
"Why'd you put your hand over my mouth?" You respond.
"Oh yeah, I heard voices" She says, all signs of pain disappear from her face.
"Mako-chan~ why can't we go swimming today~?" You hear a cheerful voice say.
"It's too cold, I don't want you to catch a cold" Another voice replied, you turn to see four boys walking towards the pool. The blond haired boy seems too energetic and has an unusually high voice for someone of his age, the brown haired boy appears to be very considerate of others, it was almost as if he was their guardian. The blue haired boy seems really nerdy, and the raven haired boy, well he's the boy that sat in front of you, he didn't talk much but you didn't know enough to consider him as someone you need to hate, in fact you think a friendship would be quite cool, he's actually pretty attractive.

"Hello we're-" Your friend starts before you cut in.
"I'm ____! Nice to meet you" You say, smiling. "Can I join the swim club?"
"Well, as you can see this is a swim club for boys-" The blue haired one says before being interrupted by the blond.
"Of course you can join~!" The blond states in his over excited manner. "Haru-chan! Did you hear that, it means we can keep the club!"
All eyes are on the raven haired boy who you assume is called Haru. His face expressionless, you stare into his sea blue eyes. So he's the mysterious type? You have to admit, his lack of emotion seems to intrigue you, it's almost as if you want to know more about him. His eyes meet yours for a moment and as this happens you feel something inside you buzz although he quickly averts his gaze to the pool behind you, the buzzing remains, filling your body with excitement.
"By the way" The brown haired boy says "I'm Makoto" a friendly smile appears on his lips as he holds his hand out. You shake his hand and he then continues to say the blond is Nagisa, the blue haired is Rei and the emotionless one is Haruka, otherwise known as Haru. You smile at each one as they're introduced although Haru didn't seem to really acknowledge you. Dammit notice me.

The group stands in silence for a few seconds before a red haired girl comes into the scene.
"Hey guys!" She says as she walks towards you. "Is it too cold to go in the pool?"
"Yes, I believe the pool is not at a beautiful temperature" Rei states, you just stare at him due to his weird comment.
"Whaaaat?" You say. "You mean it's cold?"
Rei slightly glares at you through his glasses but this only makes you laugh a little, he's really strange.
"Who's this?" The girl asks gesturing to you.
"Oh yeah I'm ____, nice to meet you" You say.
"She's joining the swim club!" Nagisa cheerfully chirps in his usual over enthusiastic manner.
"That's great! And I'm Gou but call me Kou" She says, wearing the same smile that Nagisa happily wears.
"Yeah, Gou's our manager!" Nagisa says, as he does so Gou's smile immediately dissolves and is replaced by a more angry expression.
"It's Kou" She corrects.
"Gou" He replies.
"Kou"
"Gou"
The argument continues until one of them gives up: this one person being Gou, it turns out you can't beat Nagisa in an argument. His high quantity of energy results in the ability to hold an argument for an even higher quantity of time. During the argument you noticed Rei admiring the pool's beauty and Haru just staring at it aimlessly. Does he have a crush on the water or something? He is slightly obsessed with it however it may just be the way you are viewing it.
"Haru?" You say, not entirely thinking about what you're doing. His eyes don't shift from the pool although you think he's listening. "Do you have a crush on the water?"
...
You feel his friends face palm but he doesn't respond so you repeat your question. "Do you have a crush on the water?"
Your friend takes you arm and drags you away from them to save yourself from further embarrassment. You shouting "Wait I didn't get an answer!" doesn't really help your case but your friend does whisper her opinion. "We all know he likes the water like that but we just don't say it, ok?" You feel as if you're a child being lectured about something silly. You nod in response to her statement and wait for her next action. "Well we must get going" She turns to the group and makes up an excuse to leave, she probably wants to lecture you about being aware of situations and stuff but can't really do that around them. "Oh yeah when's practise?"
"Tomorrow after school" Makoto says before he waves you and your friend goodbye, this action is soon repeated by the others.

When you're away from the pool and the group your friend speaks up "Ok for starters: can I just talk about that 'moment' you had?" She says in her I-wanna-know-all-the-gossip voice. Ugh, this is going to be boring.
"What 'moment'?" You reply only to disrupt her gossip-girl moment.
"Errr didn't you notice you and Haru were staring at each other for like an hour" She states.
"Dude it wasn't even 30 seconds let alone an hour" You say, slightly judging her for her over exaggeration. "And anyway he was staring at the pool"
"I think not, my friend" She says as a smile spreads across her face. "He was staring at you"
You feel a shiver go up your spine, he was staring at you? Does that mean he...likes you?
"No no no no no" You reply as you motion an 'X' sign with you hands. "Just no, he likes the water, not me."
"I think someone's in denial" She says in a slightly sadistic way with a cheshire-cat grin on her face; you just pout in response and cross your arms hoping that she gets the message. "Go on, confess when there's no one around" She looks around to see if there are any students in the area and whispers "you know you want to~"
A shade of red covers your face and you look away trying to hide this from your friend. "Look they're leaving! Now's your chance" She watches as the boys leave the pool, Haru still stands by the edge of the pool, intently staring at it. Unexpectedly, you're pushed towards the spot where the raven haired boy is standing and you silently stand, watching him watch the pool.
"Soooo" You start, rocking back and forth on your toes.
"I wasn't staring at the water" He says bluntly.
You freeze and stare it him in shock. "So what were you looking at?"
"I was looking at you" His head turns to look at you and your only response is a few wide blinks. All you can think is damn she was right!.
"B-but you were staring at the water" You stutter, you try and read his expressionless face but it's just too difficult.
"No, I was staring at you; your beauty resembles that of the water's and I couldn't help but look" His bluntness hits you hard and you don't know whether to be creeped out or blush like crazy.
"Heh heh, thanks I guess" You say, rubbing your hand averting your gaze.
"I think I should be going now. We should talk more often" He says as he starts walking the direction where you presume your friend is hiding. As he walks past your friend jumps out and questions him.
"So do you have a crush on the water?" She says with an inquisitive look in her face.
"No" He states, as he continues talking his eyes set upon you. "I've found someone much more beautiful then that"
