This is a really silly question.. but what does turkish delight taste like? Rosewater sounds freaking delicious.

I just followed the recipe. You warm some things together in a pan, mix them with other ingredients and let them cool, then just leave it to set. It's actually surprisingly simple, although it seems more impressive because it's a bit unusual.

Stop sending me pictures that make me drool. This looks fantastic, and yummy. The colour is just scrumptious! Is it hard to make?

Not too hard, no. As I recall you just have to heat a few things together, let them cool and mix with other things, then line a suitable container with greaseproof paper, dust with icing sugar/cornflour mix, leave it to set and cut it into squares. Then dip the squares in the remaining icing sugar/cornflour mixture.
It doesn't keep for too long though, only a couple of weeks.

I didn't know that Turkish delight was unusual, but maybe that's because my mum likes it so much!

Ooh, that looks good. <3
I first had Turkish Delight when one of my dad's customers gave him some as a holiday gift a few years back. They were lemon and rosewater-flavoured. Yummy. :]
