The Republic, formally known as "Republica Unìa de sa Còssiga e de sa Saldigna" (sardinian) or as "Ripubblica Unita di Còrsica e Sardegna" (corsican), is to be born in a scenario where both islands succeed in achieving independence and unite afterwards, citing their common history and their language continuum as a reason for it.

The Triton is a common heraldic motive in Sardinia and Corsica alike, recalling their insular nature. The palm wreath is a reference to the islands' climate and flora (palms are very common, especially in Sardinia's regional capital) as it is the radiant mural crown. The blazons, united by chains, symbolize the unbreakable bond between the two nations and recall anchor chains. Similarly, the two tritons have in their hands a trident and an anchor, to symbolize the connection with the sea.
