Does anyone want to go camping with me? Perhaps the cool thing to notice here is the frost that's hiding in the shadows.
Location: Wedgemount Lake , Garibaldi Provincial Park, Beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
Equipment: Nikon D90 + Tokina 11-16mm + Tiffen Polarizer.
Technique: Photomatix Pro 4.1 and Photoshop CS5 from 3 RAW shot with AEB +1.5 EV, 0, -1.5 EV exposures.

I love all your work and the tent for me does give it a change and makes me feel like I am there more so than without.
Setting up camp in order to take your time, enjoy the environment and compose your shots. I am inspired and also envious, must try to get there myself someday! Thank you.

I love everything about this photo. As a fellow backpacker, I don't think the tent mars the image at all. I totally get it. What a glorious place to wake up! I'm so jealous

Woot! It's a great place for exploring little nooks and crannies. Hot springs, rock bridges, hidden pools :3 I think that's why I love your photos so much. You can capture the scenery similar to what I'm used to/love, just *much* better! Thanks for sharing your work!

As always Ivan, nice composition here. However, IΒ΄d try to reduce the noise on the tent and the lake a bit, thatΒ΄s a bit disturbing to me.

Are you using Neat Image for noise reduction? IΒ΄ve got some really nice results with it...

Doesn't matter what I use, there is a ton of noise there, and little detail.

what kind of edition did you do to this photo? I'm really curious 'cause I say that you just enhanced the colours, but a friend of mine says that you did more than that.

It's HDR in Photomatix, and then some Photoshop magic to get right where I want it.

Wow, this shot is amazing. I can almost feel the cold with the black, white and blue colours expressed in the picture, and then the orange-y coloured tent seems to resemble a place of warmth and comfort. It also makes a nice sort of contrast to the cold
