Location: Moraine Lake, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.
Equipment: Nikon D5200 + Nikon 10-24mm + Tiffen Circular Polarizer.
Processing: Photomatix Pro 4.2 and Photoshop CS6 from 3 x RAW.

I am in love with this photo for many reasons, but for some reason what really stands out and moves me it the scratches in the boats.

This Lake was iced over during my visit, opening day 2012. My intention was to canoe to the middle of the lake, and propose to my girlfriend(That way she couldn't escape).
Ice ruined that plan, although the backup worked out. Good memories of this place, although seeing the canoes is a bit sore : )

I was there earlier this month with my folks and my Grandma (who was visiting from England). Didn't get to see much of the lake 'cause there was a right cold wind that day, but we got to see a Chipmunk that came within a foot of me xD Very nice shot!

I was there not even 2 weeks ago! Amazing place!!
I remember walking by those boats and thinking, "I really should get that shot, it's be perfect" but it was raining hard and my hands were frozen stiff. Seeing this, I regret just walking on!

I have to say, for not being a fan of the whole rainbow or color-themed photos, this one just jumped out at me! It's a great balance between the boats and the lake, and I enjoy it very much :3
