no, it was asked in spanish, but it's normal that people confuse them.
There are some Languages that we call "Lenguas Romance" these Languages comes directly from Latin(the language that was spoken in Rome, see? Rome... Romance...), and they have a lot of similar words, these Languages are: Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese.
