Wow... sheβs beautiful. I miss Carrie, this brings her back a little bit for me. That soulful, scared look in her eyes that was just as much a part of Carrie as it was the character of Leia.

Beautiful drawing and a great likeness of *THE* heroine of the SW canon! (Sorry, guys: but she just is; besides, I developed a serious crush on Carrie Fisher -- and, okay, on Princess Leia --Β the first time I saw "Star Wars," as it was billed, in 1977.) She has always been, and always will be, one of my most-favorite characters in the entire franchise. And for that, I refuse to apologize. She's beautiful and capable of kicking some serious behind. Can't ask for more than that in a heroine. That's just my opinion.Β
I was shattered when I heard about Carrie's passing two years ago. She was an incredibly talented, witty and funny lady. To borrow a sentiment from Hamlet, "We shall never look upon her like again." But here's hoping that her daughter, Billie Lourd, continues the family legacy. (She's got a pretty-impressive lineage to live up to: not only her mom; but her grandma, Debbie Reynolds. How's that for "no pressure"?)Β
