The 60% of that that I understood sounded cool. I don't know that much about cameras, just the basics!

I only just started to really immerse my self in photography about a year ago, and i find that if you take a couple of days just to learn the basic mechanics of how a camera works and film propetys, you will find your photos become heaps better , well maybe not better, but they come out like you had imagined them in your head,
So have a read up on how things work and try out some professional films , because it makes things easier in the long run, and have a go at using the camera in full manual mode, so everything from setting the aperture, to the shutter speed and the iso, then finally shooting, and if you are really keen, you try developing then and printing then your self, i have had a go a few times(most of my B&W shots are self made) , i know it sounds like alot of work but when you get a print finished, its alot more gratifying when you have made it all from scratch,
lol wow thats a big post, sorry for yarning on

And yeah, I'd like to start developing my own photos. There's a photography society in my college with its own darkrooms, I meant to use them but I ended up missing all the lessons they put on. Hopefully I'll be more organised next year!

Oh that one was a manual-only camera. I guess I know a bit more than just the basics, I understand about aperture and shutter speed. It's just the differences between film, then, I guess, all I really know about that is the higher the iso/asa the better you can take pictures in the dark, but the grainier it is.
