Inspired by a picture Yang made [link]I'll probably look at this tomorrow and hate it, lol. Well, drawing TF2 art forces me to try and draw humans better and use colors I'd otherwise ignore, like vivid red and blue.

The softer pastel colors actually let this image take on a more serene and affectionate mood. It also helps accentuate the feeling of gentle intimacy showcased here between the Medic and his pet rats.
Might I suggest adding some brighter "warm" tones -- like some yellows and quiet oranges -- to draw out the lighting and their figures within the picture? Just some humble advice if you're not happy with the final results of the coloring.

I really love your line style and color choices. There are no stark colors, just as there are no stark lines. Even a character with such an angular face as Medic only has a few straight lines.
Plus, I love his widdle watties! OMG, I just noticed rat!Archimedes's foot print
