Made with JWildfire. I made it completely from scratch, although I can't remember how much I edited the palette. I did minor post editing to clean up the black middle, although one diagonal strand was kind of hard to seamlessly remove at the top, so I left it in. I am sure fiddling with the flame a bit more could get rid of the artifacts.
I suppose I will make a category of "stock images" like this one, that are best used for combining with other images.
