Maybe it's the bright colors, but gladiolus always make me think of summer for some reason. I photographed these blooms several years ago and didn't think of them again until last month, when their lovely colors caught my attention once again. I guess my pink phase didn't end with the cherry blossom paintings I did earlier this spring! I had a hard time getting a decent image thanks to some spectacularly unhelpful upgrades to my computer's photo program (thanks, Apple, for making Photos needlessly complicated!) but for now this will have to do.
