the city is going to paint over these soon.in a few days, the area under this bridge will be covered with 50 gray squares of paint. one to cover up each pigeon.
people want to believe that all graffiti is an ugly, gang related, crime against humanity.
for the people who love graffiti as much as I do, this 'crime against humanity' could be our salvation.

I think this is really cool! I see big, fancy paintings on the backs of buildings all the time in Saint Paul. It's a shame the city wouldn't be willing to keep a bunch of cute little paint pigeons under a bridge.

D: These pigeons are amazing! Graffiti is the stuff that makes a city a city. If a city doesn't have it somewhere, it's just not right. I don't like it when people paint rude stuff on walls, because kids might see it and get dirty minds, but even then it's still art. And art can never die.

I don't mind graffiti, I just think there should be laws saying where it's allowed to do and where not. In your movie here it looks like it's in a parking area and I think this should be okay. But what I dislike is when they hit people's home, or even cover their windows and stuff. I know my house was hit a couple of times, and it actually looked ugly. Just words, written in one line, with one color. It annoyed me, so it got painted over and it stayed that way. Around here graffiti is a also often work of stupid teenagers and not of real artists.
I very much like picture graffiti like in your movie though. I also saw people portraits in that style in a city and found it beautiful. We also have a part close to a train station, at the wall that was built to make the train noise silent for people living there. It's full of quality graffiti and I think it's nice when you travel with train to see that road of art every time.

Wow. I remember seeing this a few years ago, loved it. I myself am a fan of artful graffiti improving the look of something. It's a damned shame they painted over the pigeons and even worse they tore the bridge down after.... If you do any more work similar to this, please, keep it up!

In one of the bridges in my city, they paid a woman that I know to paint a huge mural all over it.
It's very colorful, and no one has marked it up or messed with the bridge since then.

There's two types of graffiti - stuff thats rude and offensive and then there's artwork. This is artwork.
If they want to, at least put a fresh cout of paint on it and give you the okay to re-do it, but even that is a huge mound of work.
I think they should leave it. XD They look awesome!

Amazing. It's a shame that graffiti seems to be deemed as something of a crime, rather than gaining recognition for talent and creativity. Graffiti is much of art as any other painting, merely done with a different canvas and media.
I also like how you chose to paint pigeons on the surroundings of the cities. Pigeons tend to be viewed as vermin, but I think they're absolutely beautiful creatures, underappreciated as much as graffiti.
