Which props do you make?

I used to build Daleks (amongst other things but copyrights prevent from mentioning most) and have the last one I built sitting resting in the garage. The great thing with Daleks is the use of so many raw material and the fashioning into weird and bizarre shapes all in the comfort of your own workshop (accept for winter times) - a kind of mini engineering. What I remember most is the smell of fibre glassing and the occasional dizzy spells if you haven't got your respirator on. I like how the mind has to click into a creative mode to get round problems so you can create stuff from nothing. Very rewarding. I love it that gals are enjoying and being more and more creative these days. Women are AMAZING at engineering - probably because they multi task better than men - mostly. Good luck with your next project whenever that might be.

It was a great way to keep creative when caring for a family member full time some years back. Also a stress buster as it happens - although it did have its own moments of high anxiety. You must know how we torture ourselves for perfection... Perfection can be a double-edged sword at time - but if that is how we are hard-wired then so be it. Yes I only have the last one of my Daleks sat in the garage right now - and this one might end on the Bay of EΒ very soon. They do take up a lot of room and care and time. And I don't like leaving it in the cold garage through the winter months...Β I'm sure IΒ have heard it whining with the cold at times?!? Β
