What's with all the parodies I have done? XDI've hardly seen this been done. I'm surprised. I think people can guess who is which character and why.

I can't really see Wario wanting a heart but the rest fit great.

This looks great, but I, at least, would have done it like this as well as some reasoning behind it -
Mario/The Wizard of Oz (The Wondrous Wizard of Schnozz)
Cast In Order of Appearance:
Mario/Dorothy Gale (Mario Segale of Brooklyn and the Mushroom Kingdom) - Mario and Dorothy ARE the main character now, aren't they?!
Toad/Toto (Toado – Toad in a Cat Suit) - Toto and Toad are just both so CUTE!
Birdo/Wicked Witch of the East (Wicked Witch of the 8-Bits)
Daisy/Glinda the Good Witch of the North and South (Daisy the Good Witch of Sarasaland)
Toads/Munchkins (Toadkins)
Kamella/Wicked Witch of the West (Wicked Witch of the Koopas)
Yoshi/Scarecrow (Scare-Yoshi) - Yoshi and the Scarecrow both want to learn more; i.e. "get some brains"!
Peach/Tin Woodsman (Tin Woods-Princess) - Peach and the Tin Woodsman both have "heart" as their motif and goal. Plus, I try to phase Peach out of her role as damsel-in-distress as much as I can, even if it IS against Mario tradition.
Luigi/Cowardly Lion (Cowardly Luigion) - Luigi and the Cowardly Lion are BOTH very timid and want to be brave.
Koopa Troop/Winkies (Kwinky Military)
Bowser/Wizard of Oz Vision (Wizard of Schnozz Vision)
Wario/Professor Marvel and the Real Wizard of Oz (Professor Warvelio and the Real Wizard of Schnozz)

I think most of those are good choices, but I would like an explanation for certain ones.
It wouldn't make sense for Peach to want heart if she's already got them. If that was the case wouldn't Mario be the lion since he's already brave?
if you're not going by gender and making Kamella on of the witches, Kamek should be the other one.
I can understand scarecrow Yoshi, but I would have made him more of a cameo as the multicolour horse, since they both come in different colour varieties and give people rides. Mario's the scarecrow because he has shown not to be that smart on occasions and Peach will obviously miss Mario the most.
Polterpup makes more sense as Toto since... well... he's a dog, and why would Toad dress as a cat through the entire thing?
I don't mind Daisy being Glinda but Rosalina would make more sense since they're both magical guides for the heroes and giving them advice.
I made Peach Dorothy mainly because in Alice and Wonderland parodies she is Alice. If she wasn't Dorothy then it would be harder to choose better character choices.
I too agree that the koopa troop would be the army, mainly hammer bros as the winkies and para goombas as flying monkeys (or the Kongs XD).
I don't see why Wario as Marvel would make more sense than Wario as Tinman. At least Wario and Tinman are both heartless (but not in the same way).
So basically the only ones we can agree with are Bowser as the wizard, Luigi as the lion, any magikoopa as the witch of the west and toads as munchkins XD I would like to hear some counterarguments if you have some ^^

(Sigh) I just need some time to collect my breath and explain the rationales of some of the parody characters:
Peach as the Tin Woods-Princess would be because in at least MY parody, would not have discovered that she had a heart until she finishes her adventure with Mario. The Wizard of Oz was about the characters discovering that they had their goals inside them all along, and Peach/Tin Woods-Princess would discover her own heart in the journey. Still, I find the Tin Woodsman/Woods-Princess role for Peach much better than having her at any moment be the damsel-in-distress for a minute longer.
I had Mario as Dorothy because I thought "Why does the Point-Of-View character (i.e. Dorothy) in any Wizard of Oz parody have to be female?" So couldn't Mario fill the same role? Also, if Yoshi + Scarecrow = Scare-Yoshi, I can see why some people would be squicked out a bit. But whoever said Dorothy and Scarecrow's attraction was implying ANY romance?
I do not mind using Polterpup as Toto, but I thought that Toad deserved some kind of main starring role alongside the main heroes or heroines in some way. Since Toad looks adorable in a Cat Suit as of Super Mario 3D World, I thought making him Mario's pet cat and having him play the role of Toto was the perfect way to incorporate him.
The same thing goes for Daisy - Sure, Rosalina is magical and is a wise guide for Mario and his friends, but Daisy should have some love and a major, contributing role in the story TOO, you know. Just because we haven't always seen Daisy perform any sort of magic does not mean that she does not have any ability to do so.
What I'm REALLY trying to say is that a parody's casting does not and should not always have to make sense. In the case of mashing The Wizard of Oz and Mario together in parody, why can't we just have fun and pull something unexpected with the casting?! The more Unexpected the casting choices, the Merrier the parody!
That's why I had Wario as both Professor Marvel/Warvelio and the Human Wizard of Oz/Schnozz. He is the LEAST likely candidate for Marvel and the human Wizard of Oz, and some people would still love it (the casting choices)!

You make some very valid points. Most of those I can't counteract since they're such good points. But I will comment on why I like/still don't like the idea.
Maybe Tinman Peach (I'm just going to call him Tinman for short) does make sense now that I think about it. Especially considering people could argue Luigi already has courage since he forgets his fears to save the day, sort of like lion. I completely forgot Dorothy got captured XD I know for you it would be nice for Peach not to be the damsel in distress but for me... that just makes her more like Dorothy.
I never thought of it romantically, I just thought even as friends Peach would miss Mario the most. If Mario was Dorothy I wouldn't really expect him to miss Yoshi the most, but I guess in your version that line doesn't need to happen.
Maybe it would be nice for Toad be play a more major role and Toto would be good. I just thought since they were already munchkins it would be a bit more pointless. Not relating to the picture, but what do you think of Toad's new game that been announced?
I think Daisy or Rosalina would be a good Glinda. Peach wouldn't be bad either depending on who the other characters were. Considering Peach has proven to have magical powers, whose to say Daisy doesn't as well?
You mean Wario as Marvel is a good choice because its so unexpected and a good twist? That... actually works. I would have done someone more obvious like Toadsworth or E Gadd, but I really like your choice for just how shocking the reveal would be.
And I forgot to mention in the previous comment, the title is just so brilliantly hilarious. XD
Although I will stick with my choices, I do really like the ones you chose as well, just because some of them are less obvious. I'd actually like to see you draw something from your version, especially because there aren't enough parodies of these two franchises together.
