In the game Joshua is constantly teasing Neku, calling him "My dear Neku" and throwing all sorts of innuendos around, not to mention how Neku wouldn't wven BE in that mess if it weren't for Joshua... A lot of other stuff too, but that would go too far into spoiler territory, truthfully, I never played it either, but I've researched it on Wikia and even saw a few bits of a lets play on YouTube... I like this pairing better

Oh no, their roles are just right, Neku would always be the uke, no matter how much he hates it, because Joshua is just too f-I got manipulative and powerful for Neku to forcefully take the reigns and Joshy would enjoy holding them too much, not to mention how seductive Joshua is

I love these two too! They're one of my absolutely OTPs, I love the fact how canon they are. I mean, just like you said. Joshua is so gay for Neku.
