If I had to connect this Digi-Egg to a Canon DigiDestined I would say it belongs to Ryo Akiyama of generation 3, Digimon Tamers. He always seemed to me to have a bit to much confidence in himself but in the end his ego paid off in the final battle against the D-Reaper when he had Sakuyamon overload Justimon's Critical Arm in an attempt to save the day and win the girl. Plus the...cannon? on the Digi-Egg reminds me of something I could see Justimon turning his robot arm into.

I can see it being American pride since so many people here have pride in owning guns (eh they scare me, too many stupid people in my area with them), I'm not sure how things are in Australia. Β

Is this based on something? It seems very specific yet yet doesn't really feel like it fits it's theme.

So it's related to Armor Core; I see. Well that explains that, though not really sure how it relates to the theme of "pride".

how does the lightning peanut represent the theme of friendship, its that sort of thing where the egg doesn't make alot of sense until you digivolve it

So the armor isn't related to Pride, just helping with how the design would look and the person trying to make it into pride themselves?

Midnite! I have had a thought about this Digi-Egg; think of Pride as A Double Edged Sword, meaning it can help you but it can also hinder you, which is why if I get motivated and cheered on enough.....then I might create a Armor Evolution for a particular conflicted Prideful Dragon of mine, based on these two.

I guess I can see that in terms of the symbolism. However the egg still doesn't suit the theme visually. :I

Well if you see Pride in it's many forms then you can understand where this comes from, Pride of Good and Pride of Evil; in this case as living armour that is simply controlled by twin swords, both representing a Pride; but your right in saying the egg itself is flawed visually considering it looks like something of a Human Spirit, a rather lifeless common grunt mech at that.

Yeah and if your Digimon doesn't have swords then you're left with nothing; again.

Precisely, after all what do we do with Pride; wear it as armour, use it as a weapon, make it the flame that drives us forward? It's all a matter of perspective, Conflict might stem from many tides but only 2 has the symbolic value of being the truest opposition, kind of like Order and Chaos, they are all that should be and you'd rather have it that way, because they are the eternal opposition of each other.

I think the only thing that could save this egg is if it was gold instead of green which is a better color for say envy or greed.

Colour is a big part of things, like a story but it cannot always go the way we expect, take for example how is unassuming yet just like that it could extend into something that is clearly more threatening.

of course it represents pride, again, the egg will not look the part, but it plays the part of the element, it just needs a little push... insert Digimon and relationship of Tamer. Bam you have an armor digi evo representing the element.

Oh that's good....but what is it Essentially, a Digi-Egg of Armour Evolution or a Spirit that needs a Human to bring out it's power? Cause it does look like both

really its up to you, essentially its a digi-egg of armor evolution, but if you want to make it a spirit then i dont mind

Oh I wouldn't to make it into a spirit but I can see it as Digi-Egg of sorts, if the need truly compels me then I could Armor Digivolve a Digimon with it, Pride takes on many forms, Evil and Easy for some but Good and Difficult for others.
