Yeah..... I took my wisdom teeth and made them into a necklace. My dentist rocks for giving them to me and for drilling holes into them so I could wear them as a necklace. Thanks Dr. Fuller!Related content

Ooo wow that's so cool. Mine are all bloody, got to wash them. And the one is cracked... I thought of stringing them and hanging them above my door muahaha

Glad you like them! Mine still had chunks of flesh on them so I bleached the hell out of them for 3 days. Two of mine are cracked by now, but you could ask your dentist to drill holes in them so you can hang them up like you want to!

I don't think my dentist will be particularly pleased to do that for me! Also got the bits of flesh... I think I might just freak out my housemates if I do hang them up!

Bah! My dentist OFFERED to drill holes in mine. And most of my friends think my teeth are cool (but we are mostly art students, so by default we're kinda crazy).

I'm sure you get many questions and comments on them! I'm sure I would love to ask questions about such items of jewelry! I've always wanted to collect bones from pets that have passed away, or animals I've found (As morbid as it sounds) and create some sort of jewelry with the bones. I suppose as a sort of memorial of sorts.

That sounds really interesting, making bone jewelry. I'd wear it (obviously).

Thanks! I bleached them before putting them on the necklace to get all the dried flesh off. I kept my teeth in a sealed pouch for 4 years before taking them out and cleaning them. My dentist was nice enough to drill holes into them.

Well if you do get them out, be sure to try and get them back from the dentist, a lot of dentists don't give them back.

I've heard that in Japan they actually use the wisdom teeth for stem cell research. But trust me, if I'm not too doped up on the anesthetic I'll definitely ask.
