He looks like an Arthur or a Fortescue...possibly Arthur J. Wellington Fortescue; he looks like a stodgy, nerdy, easily rattled fellow who prefers a quiet existence, so he's kind of scared by B's enthusiastic behavior (I can tell she wants him!)
