Description So, I really liked my first little Miniature Treasure Chest, so I made another. This one I wanted to do a mermaid theme. It's made out of polymer clay, and all the details are hand sculpted and then everything is hand painted after baking.

The ball feet are painted to be pearls, and the corner joints are shaped like clam shells. The side handles are also clam shells and the front lock is an octopus. On the lid is also a cute little snail. All these details are painted with Gold Leaf. The "hinges" are green seaweed, and the top is decorated with two pressed metal charms of a seahorse and another shell.

The box is *roughly* 2" tall x 2" wide x 1" deep. The inside is painted paper.

This item is for sale at my etsy shop, Izile's Oddities

Even cuter! I also like what you did with the keyhole.

The octopus keyhole is my favorite part.

Luuuuv it! I'm a huge fan of your stuff, and this is just too cute! As soon as I have some disposible income, I'm planning on buying a vial (that, or when I can wheedle my bf into buying one for me!) Keep up the great work!
