The opening text from Jhonen Vasquez's iconic 1482 Space Epic, Invader ZIM (later re-released under the title change "INVOODER ZAB" after a copyright issue with Zimbabawe). This is the unaltered 1482 edition of the original opening text, wherein you can see that the Irkens are about to launch their invasion of the universe. Who knew that such a movie would spawn fifteen sequels, twelve video games, and a pizza restaurant in 2758 AD? Nobody, except Mr. Vasquez's preserved brain, which - whenever it wasn't angrily screaming at visitors - was always generating new ideas for Invader ZIM (or INVOODER ZAB as the case may be).

EPISODE I: THE NIGHTMARE BEGINS

Turmoil will engulf the pitiful universe. The Irken Empire is finally ready to begin its bid for conquest: Operation Impending Doom II.

Hoping to resolve the matter with a specialized sect of troops known as Invaders, the Irken leaders - the Almighty Tallest - have ordered all troops to head to the convention hall planet of Conventia.

While the army of the Irken Empire floods Conventia to assign Invaders to their targets, a single ship is flying recklessly in, not-so-secretly making tis way through the others. Its occupant? ZIM: The defective little bane of order and strategy in the Irken's ranks, likely to start up a whole new nightmarish conflict for his unwitting comrades...
