"Listen to me," he whispered, though she could hear him clearly."No...." her own voice lowered, but carrying perfectly.
"I don't care what they say," he murmured.
She closed her eyes, not even attempting to hide the forming tears. Despite all they had gone through, despite what he had done, what she had worked so hard to keep, Izzy Dulce could not stop her heart from pressing against her heart so frantically, like it was trying to create a stamp upon her chest.
A scarlet heart, a burning, slow, sorrowful mark upon her breast.
"I don't care what they think," he continued, and when he was unable to make her reach his eyes, he lowered himself slowly, kneeling at her feet.
No....
"I will always love you Izzy," Neddy spoke softly.
"Oh....Neddy," she opened her eyes this time.
Even his name hurts...but I will not be afraid.
She reached out to him, fearfully and slowly. He was tangible, even in this form of a dream, or vision. It did not feel hazy or abnormal as a dream, and she knew that it must have been more than a vision.
He had darker circles under his eyes than he had before, before when they had battled at Heaven's gates. It seemed like a lifetime ago. How could it have ended up this way?
He seemed to be thinking the same things.
She ran her hand across his face, brushing the needle-thin, golden hair Izzy had always admired so.
"Izzy," he breathed into her hand. He stared at her, and did not break away.
After all, that was all she ever needed.

I couldn't sleep. Somewhat of a vent. Don't mind me. Yes, I know Izzy's lower anatomy sucks. Sorry, I just couldn't make it look right. And I know about Neddy's posture as well.

This is a very emotional and heart-felt picture, you've done an amazing job
I really love the mist/smoke at the bottom of the picture, really adds to the emotion. I like the symbolism of their auras. I never knew Izzy felt so strongly towards Neddy? Guess I still don't know much about ID.

"Fox people"?
They aren't fox people. Izzy is a fox Peridain, and Neddy isn't even a fox, he's a dog Peridain. It says clearly in the story as well as the disclaimer if you read it x3

Very well drawn, it still looks awesome. You can really feel the emotions in this, well done. Once again you performed an amazing job on drawing and coloring, turned out simple awesome ^^ Izzy's legs are a tad too long but that doesnt hurt the picture. Still turned out very awesome.
The background adds much to the atmosphere and i love the fog you added, very very nice. The colors are well matched together, and (here we go, art skills xD) the contrast of the light behind Izzy and the dark behind Neddy blends it all smoothly. Hmm, is it me or does the dark behind Neddy look like a question mark?
The story was amazing, i could really feel the emotions flowing out of it. Your writing is always awesome as well as your art, i hope you never stop

Yeah I figured out the flaw, cause of Axel. Anyway, I'm not changing it, I normally would but this one is just an emotional thing, so I don't wanna change anything.

Amazing work here! I'll repeat what I said yesterday about it so that you can have it in your comments.
After extensive reviewing and time, I have to come to the conclusion that this picture is nearly-flawless. I found 1 proofreading mistake on the story and 1 flaw alone on the picture itself, and you already mentioned it in the comments. It's not that Izzy's lower anatomy sucks; her legs are just a little too long. But it's really not a problem at all. The picture is glorious nevertheless. I think Izzy's expression is as incredibly realistic as bbq sauce!! It definitely shows how she was feeling at that moment. The fog at the bottom is a great idea and really adds to the whole dreamy feeling. As for the colors on the background, I found a lot of symbolism in them. Both of Izzy's paws look perfect, and I don't see any mistakes in Neddy's pose. I actually love how you did his tail.
Undoubtedly, this is a brilliant work of art! The kind of stuff you should take pride from, just like the rest of your art. 5 stars!
