BLAH BLAH BLAH happy Valentine day BLAH BLAH BLAH (guess who's single ?
)I know it's not NOW but I like to post stuff before the events in general !
Didn't planned to do a Valentine pic, but as I was looking through my gallery , I noticed that all my harley and Ivy stuff had nice audiance; even if THE HATERS really spited on the last one I did (see the last pic below) (and who is also My personnal fav' of the serie) (oh and 1,188 favs; not that bad for such a badddddddd picture, isn't it ?) on their Tumblr account...
Also saw a good interest for my pics about the duo on the internet, so...I figured that I could keep producing art with the legendary pairing .
Last year I already did one pic with these 2 for Valentine day (see 1st pic below) and it was fun, so I did it again. and like the last year I tried to do an other kind of rendering
It's just a very raw drawing on board; nothing more, but it's always cool to do especially when it comes to the white highlights

As always ,Comments and CONSTRUCTIVES critiques are welcome, but I don't give a damn f*** about your aesthetic tastes however.

Good use of light and shadow in this piece. Good shading on Ivy's arm, Harley's back, and between the two. Good sense of depth and perception. Great use of light on the girl's hair and on Ivy's jewelry.
Great rendering of the girl's faces, the makeup and eyelashes look very realistic and detailed. I love the choice of these two for Valentine's Day.

Hey, you also know that Zee belong to my favs; but there is not really overwell knowed pairing with her; while harley and Ivy are a classic (well thanks DC for killing this in the new 52) that nearly everyone is aware of
And yeah, beside I know these 2 also bring me a good audiance in general

So yet another thing ruined by the reboot? Gah. Killing history for the sake of cash...why couldn't they simply have doen the reboot the may Marvel did with the Ultimate universe? They could have had the cake and eaten it too...instead, the cake is a lie. Sigh...

exactly my thought too. Like what they did with the "all star" even if it was a disaster with batman.
I still hope that in the next month they will consider this as a different universe. Haven't really read the whole stuff. jsut read some #1 and just keep with Wonder Woman. Still didn't read flashpoint, so I may miss some.... points.
So then they killed zatanna's design, same for supergirl... and many otheres... harley/ivy pairing and style (I'm pretty sure they broke the pairing because it was hard to assume) and now.... i'm not a powergirl fan, but hell have you seen the new one ?

Dear, I've completely and intentionally avoided the whole thing. As far as I'm concerned, the DC Comics I knew has gone out of business and some other people have the name and characters now.
Altho ya, I keep hoping that the fact that they did 52 new number one issues to start is a clue that this is in fact just one of the other 52 universes and our Earth is still spinning out there somewhere...

For my part, no, I didn't changed my style... hum... it's maybe a bit more rought, because it's 100% traditionnal, then I tend to polish my stuff less than on digital....hum... or maybe it's the overall used technic that makes you thing I might have changed my style.... I dunno !
