I like the background as well. You can feel the autum in the air with him wraped around that scarf and the leaves falling all around. The orange/red splashes also helps set the mood. ^^

I admire anyone with oekaki skills! He looks like he just popped off of an animation cel! The texture of the shirt is amazingly well-done, and I love how you recreated the spots on his scarf.

*grin* Very nice! She has a lot of character, a very cute style, great colour (the cel-ness on the hair is really nice ) and an adorable expression...all in all, a very nice piece. I like the texturing you've done on certain areas, like her shirt and scarf, too..although I think on her whiskery things it makes the look just a little flat. Still, it's a very nice piece of work..you've got a lot of talent! It goes nicely as your avatar, too Good job, all around!
