Drew this a little while back for a cool group I've been helping with. I'd definitely recommend checking it out!

Basic

Name: Et keeps his real name a secret, even from the other Mononoke. Some speculate that he has actually forgotten his name and just doesn't want to admit it.
Nicknames: Et

Age: Very old.
Sex: Male
Gender: Male

Species: Mononoke
Appearance: ET stands taller than a human, with the body/legs of a tiger, wings/beak of an eagle and dragon's antlers.
Source of Energy: The death of the Mononoke Mu.

Personality

+ || Fair - So long as you follow the rules and treat him and his Chiku with respect, Et won't bother you. He has even been known to protect those who have shown kindness towards him, or otherwise behaved in a manner that keeps the peace within his Chiku. An easy way to gain his favour is to leave him gifts, help keep the small barn he calls home in good shape, or even to help other Yokai/humans when he is around to see it. Likewise, if you anger him, he'll make sure you regret it. Usually, it's small things, like stealing house keys or putting their car in a tree, but in the past, Et used to outright attack - sometimes fatally - those who pissed him off. In the current century, he has only attacked a human once.
+ || Brave - Et has no problem with confronting or fighting others, even if outnumbered.
+ || Loyal - Despite his independent and sometimes abrasive personality, Et does care for his fellow Mononoke, and feels a sort of loyalty to them.

= || Satisfied - Et enjoys the current state of his life and of Kimotori. He doesn't have ambitions other than to do his best to keep his Chiku at peace.
= || Responsible - Et views the safety of his Chiku as his personal duty. In the daytime, he patrols the farmland in the form of an orange tabby cat, ever watchful for treats to those who live under his protection. Should he deem an issue serious enough, he will intervene to protect his Chiku. This has led him to cross paths with the Mitsumeru many times, and while his actions do aid the organization, he is hesitant to outright collaborate with them. While he views the safety of the Farmland Chiku as his responsibility, it is his responsibility alone; to accept outside help would be to admit that he is not competent enough to do so.

- || Arrogant - While he doesn't like to brag, Et is extremely confident in himself and his abilities. He hates it when others try to interfere/assist with issues in his Chiku, and absolutely under no circumstances would he ever be willing to ask one of the other Mononoke help. He is a little less embarrassed about asking Yokai (or even humans) in his Chiku, or the dragon, for aid, but still prefers to do things by himself.
- || Vindictive - Et isn't one to let go of grudges easily. If he believes you have wronged him, it's best to stay out of his Chiku for the next century or so.
- || Cryptic - Et doesn't lie outright; rather, he'll just say something that makes no sense or ignores undesirable questions entirely.

Detailed Description: Et is more predictable than most of the Mononoke.
While within his Chiku, so long as you follow the rules and show respect, he will have no reason to bother you. Despite this, Et can be just as dangerous as the others - in the past, he used to outright attack, sometimes fatally, those who angered him. Now he settles for putting their car in a tree, stealing their keys, or coming in the form of a cat and leaving 'gifts' on their doorstep. However, a decade ago, a teenage human set the small barn he lives in on fire; the next night, the teenager was attacked by an 'enormous monster' that left a number of deep wounds, permanently scarring them.

History

Past-History: Et was created by the fight between the Elder One and the traitorous Mononoke Mu, rising from the latter's ruined body after the dragon had easily defeated him. Due to these origins, many distrusted Et, but after many years of leading the Farmland Chiku, few remember how he came to be. Et destroyed the place where Mu once lived, and instead took up residence in an old, forgotten farmstead.
He was once violent, attacking Yokai and Mononoke alike who lacked respect, but has become less so after many decades of peace. He rarely harms humans, only having done so once in the current century, perhaps because he likes them, or perhaps out of respect of the Mitsumeru. He does his very best to keep the Farmlands safe, taking the form of a normal tabby cat to wander about during the day without attracting too much attention. A century into his leadership, a small group of Mu's followers returned to his Chiku, and sought him out in his home, thinking that, perhaps, since he was 'born' from Mu's body, he might be sympathetic to their cause.
Instead, they found a very angry Mononoke waiting for them. He attacked, chasing them out of his Chiku and deep into the mountains, hoping they might lead them to the others, but they vanished quickly in the deep forest, for they were far more familiar with it than Et. His old home had long ago rotted down to almost nothing, and this fight made the rest of it come crashing down, so Et has moved to a recently abandoned barn.
Since then his leadership has been rather uneventful; he has mostly just needed to scold mischievous Yokai or frighten off disrespectful humans. He hopes to one day be able to find Mu's Yokai and punish them for the harm they have done to his Chiku, although the old rumours of their escape have begun to feel more and more like nothing more than myth.
Group History: Et guards the Farmland Chiku, doing his best to keep both the Yokai and human populations safe. (More will be added as the story progresses.)
