Description
Final pencils with a bit of black ink. I always try to anchor a new character to something familiar so that they can start to move and have a personality in my head. In this case, I picture the cowboy as Sawyer from the TV show LOST!

beautiful gun and hat; they're probably the most tricky to draw.
and, Sawyer as Roland? I never thought of that... out of the LOST cast, I always thought he'd be more of a Jack-looking guy.
but I can see Sawyer playing the part. hmm.

Stage two! Skulls have changed their residence from left lower corner to the floating coat of the character:3 more and more messy things coming around creating organized picture.

Not sure I really like his face. Granted, there's nothing wrong with his face, but once you've gone through all the books and have such a strong mental image of the character, it's hard to shake it. Heh heh heh. Love everything else about it, though. The buttes have this cool kind of skeletal look to them that reminds me of decrepit buildings.

the color version looks good, but I would have liked to have seen this completely inked......there is just something about b&w inked work that is just awesome.....

I love the ink work in this one, and no one gestures quite the way you do.
I love the confidence of line, and the bold pencil work.
