This is a coloring I did over Chris William's Lines of Black Widow in her suit from the 80's.As you guys may know, I'm always trying to make my pieces as colorful as the lines will allow but man let me tell you, it is very hard to make grey look colorful. I mean how do you make something with 8 Saturation look good?! According to some references I pulled from Alex Sinclair you add fairly saturated colors as the lighting.

Colorful is what I was going for, but it was a big challenge when I had to deal with such a desaturated flat color. Glad to hear I pulled it off.

This outfit was designed by Frank Miller, the only thing i didn't like about it was he took her webline and Widow's blasters away turning her into a female Daredevil and shes allways been much, much more than that! Thats why i was glad they gave her bracelets back in the 90's (just in time for her to take command of the Avengers at last!) Your colors add great enhancement to Chris William's reworking of the costume(love the texturing!) Most Excellent work from both of you!
