Okay this inking is much better than my last one using the tablet! inking is not easy and it takes a while but it's fun. I enjoy almost as much as I do coloring! Also I can't get enough of J. scott campbells lines!Feel free to color this, just make sure you credit the pencilist and myself and provide links back to us.

Campbell draws Rogue the way I love and remember her, a skinny little southern gal, not someone with floatation device chesticles... and your inking on her is so crisp and complimentary.Β Great all around!

Very nice work - I think you can tell it was inked by a colourist too - very bold with lots of open areas where you want definition and depth to be added with colour not shading. I'd love to see what would happen if you played with the pressure settings a little more to get more variety in your line-thickness though.
How are you getting on with the tablet? I used to use one but then spent too long drawing on an iPad - it left me completely unable to re-learn not looking at where I'm drawing. I'm continually tempted to get an Intuos and force myself to get into it again since saving for that Cintiq is going to take forever

Yeah, you're right in saying that I take into account what the colorist is left with. and I am trying to change up my line weights but I'm still getting used to the tablet and thus I am having trouble using the pen pressure correctly.
Also being a beginner I'm trying not to stray to far from what the pencilist drew. I try and draw it line for line exactly the same.
I'm having no trouble working with the fact that I'm looking at my monitor and not the pad. But I haven't trained myself otherwise. I personally don't think that the cintiq is worth it. But some people seem to think it is. So I don't know.

Well if you want critique based on you being a beginer then you can ignore anything I ever say... it's generally based on the assumption that you're working far beyond that standard (ie. your stuff is awesome).Β
I'm on the fence about the value of a cintiq... the huge price tag doesn't seem to be justified but they are amazing tools... the 13HD is almost reasonably priced too.

beginner or not, I appreciate critique. They are amazing tools and some people think it's worth the price, I guess it just depends on how often you're going to use it and what you're going to use it for. Thanks for the comment!
