Hey thanks for the comment, i used camera raw (photoshop cs5) to open the raw and the different exposures levels and Photomatix to merge the raw and tone mapping

Oh so out of one image you used camraw to make 3 differently exposed photos, and then used an auto tone mapping program to merge the 3 ? Pretty smart idea, thanks a lot for sharing.

so did you just use the exposure slider to make it 3 different shades? (light, regular, dark)?

yes, one at +2, the original and one last at -2, just the exposure slider. However the photo was taken at -1 exposure, the day was too bright
