Description
Pulling open the cabinet, I took out a bag. I opened it and pulled out
two pieces of white bread. The bread alone looked delicious to me right now,
but I refused to eat it. Reaching back into the cabinet, I pulled out two jars.
One was peanut butter, and one was grape jelly. Taking a knife from the
silverware drawer, I dipped it in the peanut butter and smeared it onto
half of the sandwich. I repeated with the jelly.
I put the two pieces together, creating a sandwich. Grinning, I took
out a blue lunchbox and placed it inside, adding in a carton of juice and an
apple. I then zipped it closed and sat it on the counter. Right on time, I
could hear my son scrambling down the steps, ready for school.
