I really like the progression of this line of Pokemon, though I don't see the reason for making it a dark type(other than that fact this one is basically a werewolf). It reminds me of a cross between the Rockruff/Lycanroc line, the Poochyena/Mightyena line, a little bit of Lilipup's line. Overall, every stage is very well designed, and due to the levels that it evolves at, this Pokemon and its preevolutions would be great Pokemon to train up right along your starter Pokemon(assuming that it isn't a starter Pokemon itself). Going back to my previous point, I really think that the dark typing is a very cool addition to this Pokemon, but dark types are all inherently evil for the most part(except for Absol). This awesome beast is more friendly than evil, it seems. Although if the typing comes from a time when there were no skilled trainers who could catch it, and it never thought twice about giving mercy, I guess I could give you a pass on that.
All in all, this has to be one of my favorite Pokemon Fakemon lines. Excellent work done here!
Edit: I just realized what an idiot I was for not realizing that this was a starter Pokemon. When this becomes a completed fan game, I'm pretty sure this guy will turn out to be my starter. I also now see the real reason for it being a dark type, being that the other two Pokemon starters are Fighting and Psychic. I'd still love to see your thoughts on all of this though.

Yup~it's a starter pokemon in the game^^
I didn't decide the typing and you have points~but honestly I never really question the typing as long as there's a reason~even just a small one. See~I saw you feel a bit reasonable after knowing the typing relationship of starters~that counts too.
Although I do have to say~this line wasn't really constructed by myself~if anything I was there only for the design~Like you said about Absol~I somehow like this for it's being a little contradictive with the dark type~I mean for God's sake the first stage has a name meaning "faithful and honest"~XD
We did talk about this in the team~I forgot if I mentioned anything about maybe changing something in its behavior section a bit~plus you already have a good theory. It's highly possible that I myself would use dark+ice even it's my own creation~but it's also highly possible that I won't use this vibe that sorta gives you this feeling of...like it's a cross between many other pokemon~I mean you will feel that it's menacing enough for being a dark type~still I'm quite satisfied with the result.

Yeah. I actually really enjoyed doing an in-depth analysis of this Pokemon and its pre-evolutions. It really makes me wish that Ice was a bit stronger of a type defensively. Looking at this Pokemon's stats compared to the ones of the other two final evolutions of the starters you guys made, this guy is very clearly the worst pick(going based on stats alone). I wish that the ice type was at least resistant to types like Bug, Grass, and maybe even flying. That would make sense, and it would certainly make this Pokemon a whole lot better defensively. One other thought that I had regarding what I just explained is the idea of maybe(if you guys are up for it) giving this Pokemon a new ability that makes it resistant to certain types(I mean come on, this thing is weak to BUG type Pokemon, of all things, and it isn't resistant to Grass either). This might just be wishful thinking on my part, but its an idea nonetheless, and if you and your team thinks that it wouldn't be hard to add in, that would be really freaking awesome!
One other thing that I'm not sure if you're aware of is that this Pokemon is weak to Steel type attacks, which come from the starter Pokemon that its supposed to be really good against with this Pokemon being a dark type and the other one being Psychic. This might have been an intentional addition made, and if so, I don't want you guys to change anything about it, but I just wanted to make you a little aware.
Anyways, sorry about all of that. Basically if you guys can add the new ability to this Pokemon to make it better competitively, that would be pretty freaking awesome, and if not, that's okay too, I guess. I really hope that the final game turns out amazing! If the level of skill behind it is anything like what I've seen so far from the artwork that you've been posting, then I have no doubt that it will be awesome.
Would love to hear your thoughts on all of this stuff that I mentioned.

OK~thanks for bringing it up~here I quote what our leader says:
"We're trying something new all together with our starters - we want them to each have a different role in competitive. Starting off, we wanted the triangle to be Psychic>Dark>Fighting, but on evolution we wanted to negate the whole thing and have them then have a weakness to one another. Our Psychic starter is suppose to be a staller as the stats kind of indicate, especially with its ability, Prankster. Ice type pokemon tend to be glass cannons, and this doesn't change with our Dark/Ice starter, who has pretty good attack, speed, and decent special attack. Moxie is there to compliment it's attack, and help with a potential sweep. Our Fighting starter, we wanted to be more balanced. It can learn all the elemental punches, but it will still need help with its ability Iron Fist to help boost its attack a bit since it is almost completely balanced. On top of that Dark/Ice is 4x weak to the fighting starter, so it's not really a good idea to keep it out if you know your rival is switching into it. All of this is also to make them not really be a Pokémon somebody should feel obligated to have on their team, but one that can help them out competitively in the future since we hope to add that feature one day. I know the triangle is odd. Psychic types don't effect Dark types, but I don't think that'll be a huge issue since it's whole gimmick is to be a staller and rely on statuses anyways, and most of the things we have updated to gen 7, we didn't update prankster and allow that to still effect Dark type Pokémon. Since its extremely bulky, you'll need the good attack from the dark starter to help chip its health down. Also, please note that anything is subjected to be changed by the time we release if we really feel it's unbalanced or causes issues gameplay wise. That includes stats, moves, or anything really."

That clears most of it up, but I still find it odd that because the Psychic starter is part steel type, its strong against both the fighting starter and the Dark/Ice starter. That's the only thing that confuses me a bit, really.
