She was not my first choice when I thought of young Dee. It was a toss up between her, Evan Rachel Wood and I forget who else.

The nickname Dee probably came from baby Samantha (Sammy). Too young to say Deanna, she called her Dee from the word go and it even stuck with John.

She's young in this picture, definately before Sam splits for collage.
