Magnficient! The wood has such a rich tone to it, and the metal bands makes one think of such diverse things as crosses, medieval torture instruments, the fleur de lys, and the thorns of roses. The dragon heads are like the icing on the cake.

I have cut all the parts in a sheet of iron (0,8mm) with an electric jigsaw. I have polished every pieces and drilled for fix them with differents nails.

are the dragon scales overlapping? or is the metal scored to make it appear so?

Each dragon is composed by twenty different pieces. I cut out them in a thick metal sheeting of 0.8 milimeter. I assembled them like a puzzle. Each part is fixed by small nails on their extremities. I placed a space of 3 milimeters approximately between each element so that the patina is placed in this small space.

Wood is chestnut. The texture of this wood is very beautiful. Iron was cut out with a saw to jig-saw. That with lasted 3 weeks. Then I used more than 1000 nails to fix iron on the door.
