This is an animation I created using KO Corral's World Class 02 . He did the original artwork, and I colored and animated it.

It's been a while since I animated one of KO Corral's works. Too long, I'd say. But I've been busy, and most of the stuff he's put hasn't really lent itself well to my (lazy) kind of animation. However, this seemed do-able, and I thought I'd give it a try, and even went a step farther than usual and colored it.

It's a bit rough, because I didn't spend very long going over the lines to smooth them out, so I apologize if it doesn't look as clean as some of my other stuff.

I opted to make the losing girl's clothes slightly off-white, to be like some sort of store-bought karate outfit, and thought red gloves would add just enough color to make her a bit sexy (or sexier, I guess). I didn't want to make her a stereotypical ditzy blond, and I've done a lot of red-heads lately, so I gave her a light brown hair.

As for the victor, I knew I wanted to give her a darker, maybe slightly reddish skin to contrast her wild look with the loser's pale, almost pampered look. At first, I wanted to give her markings bright, festive colors, but she doesn't really seem like a bright, festive girl, so instead I opted for something she might hope would strike fear into her enemies - blood-colored paints. As for the gray hair... well, it was the only color that seemed appropriate, aside from black (which wouldn't show up well), or brown (which is way too prevalent already here). As for the background... well, gradients are easy and look better than solid colors in my opinion.

For this animation, I did things a bit differently from my usual head-snap animations. Generally, I have the attacker's entire upper-body moving with effort, but here, I decided to keep her head still, making it appear like this isn't very much effort for her - it's routine, even. Add in a few small flourishes with the victim's arm, hair and facial expression, and we have an animation that I think turned out pretty well.
